do they still even get enough money from pulling this to begin with? I get it, 'free money today pls'... but in the long run this will ruin their reputation if it hasn't done so already and in 4-5 years instead of a business they'll have to close up shop because nobody will give them the time... it seems like the logical thing is to work (even a teeny tiny bit to prolong this) and engage with the audience from time to time. Even if you want to scam people, there are ways to properly do it to get profit on the long run.

The subscribestar it's still open for that shitty voice records he announced last month even whe he said that it will be pause since no new game content was or will be released, so he just wanted to securo some more money, and it up to +2000 dollars if you count the subscribers and the amount of pledge.

Every sane person already lost all trust to this dev, only new fans or the ones that only knows the remake keep supporting him, that's why some people are begging for news and other went silent. You can even see that the comments of the only news they wrote, theres no new comments praising them, everyone just asking whats the status of the development.

Already said that a few pages back. He had other projects going when the remake was announced and went all on standby, but after having handled the wheel to critical bliss for the remake he hasn't even talked about those, easily he could already started working on any of those since he doesn't have to work on the main one anymore.

Every time I hear the publisher is "Critical Bliss" the game takes many years to come out. In the discord, Cypress said if it isn't out by 2028, he will take over from CB and work on it personally again.

It's literally what i been telling the whole time but with nice words, pretty sure it's some white knight from the discord or from critical bliss team. They tell everyone that the project it's still being worked on like they been doing since 4 years ago but not a single clue of anything else.

lmao what the actual f---. The amount of art in these games is something a comic artist shits out in a week. The script is at most a couple weeks worth. This game literally uses public domain classical music. Renpy can be a bit of a chore but its not written in sanskrit.
That so many people have somehow been convinced that 2D visual novels that don't even have branching paths take months, much less YEARS AND YEARS is absolutely mind boggling. The equivalent of small hobby projects raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars, I wish I had thought of that.

It's been 4 years since the announcement if I'm not wrong, the thing is that the stupid fuck was going back and forward with many desings of the girls to just literally end picking the first one they made.

I really don't know if it was a choice from critical bliss o Cypress the Godot engine (i really don't want to dig again back in time on this topic) still, he had a team of writers and artists before partnering with CB and was only working on the remake the whole time since tropical daze went stand by, even when he was saying that they were working on it. He also did a side project that was a comic, it was garbage imo. But all that shows that he was burning the money supporters donated. Like literally 4 years, just a preview of some CG whenever they wanted and saying that the game was awesome and already the first day got more content than the whole old game, nothing makes sense at all.

Also i remember that with snow daze he already made this move almost at the end of making the game.
