I'm sure a mod that just replaces the new art with the old one for all the original content will be done soon enough after it releases, lots of people seem to prefer the old style.
I like the new art well enough, at least the game will look consistent (plus the final day's art looked really bad in the original).

It is """""step"""""-twins, blame patreon for that(before they were kicked off anyhow). There won't be a patch in part due to the voice lines.

That said this may change as there's a whole bonus day to tied together for Tropical Daze

I hate the step relations as much as everyone else, this is just a joke

So theyre redoing the art from the beginning? ...the art that doesnt have a minor inflation fetish? damn. This was one of the first games I'd played and the art at the end always threw me off. If the redrawn art looks like the art from the end I'm probably gonna skip their next game =(

We're working on color and upgrading the old CG's now.

We've already got it written, voice acted, edited, and mostly drawn.

So hopefully it won't be too long.

But it'll get more focus once Hypnolab is 100% done.

According to the Discord, CypressZeta stated that the bonus day and overall extra-polished version of the first game (revamped art etc) most likely won't be finished until Spring 2021.

I was disappointed at first, but apparently the reason they're polishing and tweaking the game is so that they can market the game to a Japanese audience. Having found that out I have to say I understand much more where they're coming from.

From a business standpoint, it makes a lot of sense. It might even allow them to break out of the Patron/SubscribeStar method and become a legit studio. Or something like that.

Considering platforms like Patreon are gradually removing creators like CZeta (it's only a matter of time for SubscribeStar...) I think it's pretty wise to take as much time as needed.
