Given what happened to the Sand Storm MC in the end, will this game follow up on that?

Well, given that MC at the end of SandStorm falls unconscious in Snow, and this game starts with MC wakes up in Snow not knowing who he is and get saved by Astrja, I'd say yes this game is the direct followup.

Definitely preferred first few chapters of Sandstorm, but this one just started.
Wonder if evil selection from Sandstorm will have any impact on the story later on.

White Wolves are the ones that control trade, so they are the richest clan in the game. But, the choice is yours either way. I didn't go with them. I went with the Bloody Bears. I doubt I'll play any other clan either. Kind of funny for me to go with them, considering my name. Ahaha

If you have some points with her ( you have to be more dominant, and not put up with her bs), it's better to approach.
