I think that the pattern is:
1) White Wolves= Maddie (because of Freyja)
2) Dark Ravens= Nora (because she looks like Nox)
3) Red Bears= Rion (It's just the remaining option)

In the end I be convinced. I unlocked all the endings, I confirm my preference for Rion.
Compared to the evil endings of Sandstorm Candrid it doesn't seem that bad!
But Nox still sucks

The dev said that the WW path is the "Maddie" path. Plus, they have a close relation with freya which is Maddie daughter.
