To be honest with ya bud, I don’t even think TK8000 (the developer) himself knows. Update was supposed to come out before the new year, but now it’s the 26th, so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t come out for a few more weeks. If we’re being honest, this isn’t the first time a delay this long has come from TK, so trust me brother this is nothing new; his last delay lasted from June 1st to September 1st (for PATRONS), which isn’t even taking into account the extra 2 weeks it took for NON-PATRONS to get his update for HS Tutor... so we went 3 MONTHS (plus 2 weeks) with ABSOLUTELY NO UPDATE whatsoever. He’s been AWOL on Patreon for 12 days (his last post was on January 14th), and was last seen here on F95Zone 5 days ago (Tuesday at 3:51 PM). If I were you dude I wouldn’t get my hopes up anytime soon because you’ll likely be severely disappointed as I, and many others, have been.

Yes, I want to finish Solvalley in March and HS Tutor later this year.

Then I'll try to make a game with different art. Maybe even using DAZ Studio. To be honest, I find the 3D art generated at DAZ Studio "soulless". I know that word is used in an ironic way and many people think it means nothing, but when I see women from games made with DAZ, I always imagine mannequins, and never characters. I don't know why exactly, I think that the attempt to create something photorealistic contributes to this. Anyway, if I can't find another solution, I'll do it, because I don't want to use third party art (like Illusion games) anymore.

After that, I have no plans to continue making these types of games. But I don't know what will happen in the future. Maybe I can find a decent way to create my own models without having to steal from Illusion or using DAZ that I don't like. If that happens, I will be happy to create more games.

Didn't know what studio the other games were using, seems to be DAZ, and I can't agree more. I somehow dislike how they look which is why I ignore almost all of them in the latest updates section and rather play ones with HS. Honey Select is in my opinion the bridge between game-like and realistic, which is why I prefer it, though Koikatu as well as it looks more anime-like.

But then again, in most cases... Maybe you are able to give it a fresh look compared to the other games out there, over time the quality of this game went higher that it actually was.

Sorry, I expressed myself badly. I meant that I am open to new possibilities and if I have an inspiration or find a way to create my own art easily, I will definitely continue to make adult games. But right now, I'm not thinking about it, and I don't have anything planned for a future game (except for what I said about maybe using Daz Studio).

The problem is that I feel a little out of place because I think the adult games audience wants more mature things. And I don't know how to do anything serious. House Arrest should be my mature game and in the second scene Joel is shooting in the microwave, and there is that classic scene where Mary and Alanna fight half naked while Joel doesn't even care because he is watching an Adam Sandler movie.

I know there are people who love this kind of thing, but it's definitely not what most people want in their games. A few months ago I tried the game Melody, which is super successful. I honestly couldn't understand any reason why people like that game, and this is really bad... I've been creating adult games for 2 and a half years and when I see a successful game, I can't identify anything in it that I can say: "Oh! That's why this game is so loved by players!". I don't know if I managed to make my point clear, but it's like I'm unable to understand what people really want.

Not that it discourages me. I have so much fun making my games and the support I have on Patreon is incredible. So I'm happy and I want to finish Solvalley, HS Tutor in the best possible way.



Note: I liked the Melody's library girl, however. I thought she was the only charismatic character in the game but the sex scene with her was kind of disappointing because things in that game look very robotic.
