Don't worry about being unfinished I worked on this game for 1 year, about the renpy version will be discontinued please visit my discord to test the RPG maker mv version it's Far away better than the renpy version.Pretty solid concept, but quite early and not much things to do. My guess is this will stay unfinished like pretty much all games I like more...
The UI could be somewhat more clear, with buttons more clearly separated from the text and there could be lines to separate already read text from the new text that has appeared. Also there appears to be bug on the "found 10 money" random encounter, where if you click too soon on the platform to go fast forward, you get stuck with the picture and no text or buttons to move forward (needs a reload).
No, i just finished the intro took me 2 weeks to do it, but from now on the updates will be pretty fast, ( i had to write some plugins ins)is it up to the point of the renpy vertion?
Fix. Thank you, IDK, why my steam is in English my pc, is in English my RPG maker editor is in English but the menus are in Portuguese.ur start menu is not in english
Darn... I have kinda grown a passionate hate for the RPGM and even the save game sound kinda makes all my bodyhair to rise. The RPGM UI just isn't made even halfway decent for PC use and I think I can count the games on one hand that I have actually liked on RPGM just because the UI is so horrible for almost anything without serious modding involved.Don't worry about being unfinished I worked on this game for 1 year, about the renpy version will be discontinued please visit my discord to test the RPG maker mv version it's Far away better than the renpy version.
Checked the new version but just made it to Edgars bar but did not get any events during work. Navigation in the maps is a nightmare as expexted.version 0.2 rpg maker mv on discord there is a dlc read the content if you want to download it
Thank you for clarifying things, this should be my work but I need to point out something or two, I am not the kind of guy who gives ups so easily. I abandoned the renpy version because of several engine problems somatra uses with lots of maths and the renpy which is a visual novel engine doesn't hold this, my mistake make me lose almost 1 year of the job, about the old pics mostly of then will be on rpg make version but with a little remade this example of the following update:Just to clarify for everyone: This is a remake based on a new technology RPG starting from scratch.
All preview pics are from the old version, this is mostly not part of the current release. You will also need to start from the beginning.
Should probably be labeled as Re-Start on first page to clarify this.
I have been following this game from start and hope this will not kill the project. Would love to see the story continued that has been scetched far beyond the final scope original version.
It's all pre-rendered from Koikatu, Renpy was just showing screenshots and captured gifs. RPGM is now doing the same thing. What about 3D stuff from renpy version? If I dont misunderstand it was rendered by renpy, afaik RPGM is absolute shit at 3D rendering, there were a few japanese RPGM games with 3D and they all lagged horribly trying to render Doom 1993 level corridors and flat enemies.
Usually when people start adding content like outfits and transformations and pregnant bellies and other visible stuff for the game protagonist there's a combinatorial explosion in the amount of renders they have to provide for each combination, 3D client side rendering easily solves this problem and I'd hate to see the game stifled because 3D is off the table.
I'm glad you switched to RPGM instead of trying to force Renpy to become RPGM. This seems to suit your story better. The maps are looking real good, but I hope you don't add too many more world maps, cause it's already pretty big when running around.I'm not so active here anymore, because I'm focusing a lot on making more and more GCs. Even being the beginning of the 0.3 version of RPG maker version there is more history content than in the old renpy 1.0.7. I really like to work with RPG Maker Mv I have ZERO problems with this engine. I'm still learning it, and doing maps like that; takes some time I could have more content if I'm not so perfectionist maybe, or just crazy, and the sprites take time too so I'm doing slowly for sure but things are getting good shape.
