Not sure if this part is a necessary step but talk to Roulette about Wonder Girls and getting the ability to capture them. Then go to the legion hideout for a cutscene where Grail is introduced. After that, capture wonder woman and talk to her in her prison cell. No idea on what to do after that.

This has to be the most asinine update I've seen for this games release. I cant even imagine actually paying for this, waiting half a year for an non update for two scenes for an character that should've been finished already and the announcement for announcement for a whole new area that's not even available yet.

The two devs I follow here are SunsetRiders and Mity. I usually don't like comparing projects with two completely different visions, but for this, I just can't help it. Mity, for the most part, has been consistent in putting out updates for their games that are almost always filled with a ton of content on an almost monthly basis. And the times they do have development issues, they make sure to let their patrons know and will quickly bugfix a broken build instead of leaving it to rot until next time. Meanwhile you have these guys who take 6 months to finish a build that should've been one update and not 3 and leave shit broken all while giving the flimsiest excuses every time.

I get the impression the holdout on the mercy content last update due to bugs was actually to leave something for this update in case they couldn't add part of the new event.
I'll hold judgement in for the next update, since I'm still of the opinion updates should have a deadline.
Still, they've been promising this update for how long? Haven't they mentioned working on a big event since last Halloween? To not have anything to show now and already promise a bug fix/tweak update in November after the October Update seems to much foreshadowing.

Because these events arn't in the game, Sunset just put a black box next to Lex to imply that someone was there and if you donate for the next month, you'll get to find out.

OK, just wanted to say a couple of things about this. Thanks to scarlet sp33dster and others for posting this changelog.
How much of this is actually in 2.3.8?
- As far as I can tell, just the Mercy room sex sprites, and clothed and nekkid versions of Grail and Myrina (same pose). As for the other described assets, while they may be on SR7's hard drive, they don't appear to be included with the sprites for 2.3.8.
- Also, as far as I can tell, there are only two scenes involving Grail (one with Myrina), they are clothed both times. That's not worth updating my quick reference sheet for, for now anyways, as there isn't really any progression with either character, it's just laying the groundwork for the Themyscira event later.

So, while a lot of groundwork may have been done for 2.3.9, think of this update in this context:
1) A few bugfixes and an interface change (the world/offworld map mainly, click on the big honkin' globe at the top of the city map to access it).
2) The 'as promised' Mercy sex in room content that didn't quite make it for the last update. This is mainly just adding the 'rule of three' sex + anal scenes. There's a conversation after anal three times, but no nickname option at at that point, and no slut costume at at that point either as far as I could see in my playthrough. You can have sex with Mercy in different costumes though if that's your thing. I'm seeing three outfit options and of course the nekkid option in the sprites.
3) A couple of quick conversations with Grail, and Myrina shows up briefly too.
So, unless you really want to get it on with Mercy in her room (finally), and if you've done everything else, don't feel like you've missed anything with this update that won't keep until 2.3.9 drops, should you be considering holding off on downloading SU again until the next update..
The changelog does indicate that there's a lot of work going on to get the Themiscyra event implemented, and there's probably code for it lurking under the hood right now in 2.3.8, but nothing that you'll be able to access at the moment as far as I can tell.
Of course, I can't read the code itself, so I can't verify this, but if the complete overhaul/bugfix that was described in the associated Patreon post is INDEED finally happening, I for one welcome it. It's long overdue.

Make sure Circe, WW, Cassie and Donna are unlocked and you have finished all their content with them, otherwise Grail and Myrina will not approach you in the Legion hideout. Make sure to bring WW along the way and the rest is history. But also note that this is just sort of like a prelude not the full thing.
from what i can see on patreon, folks are not happy. the discord reflects this too; the brazen move of listing content on the changelog that isnt accessible in the update has not gone down well atop only two scenes being released for this update. there's the occasional person still praising the Sunset for release, but folks are either very quiet or grumbling over this one.

thanks for the heads up. I was always under the assumption that not only his Patreon users would be pro-Sunset and defensive, but the discord server too. I felt it was toxic despite rarely checking out the 2d/3d hentai art (literally just the porn subsection), but now you've said it, the gist is more clear. Will however stick with this thread since it's like what, sort of a internet home--biggest place/hub to download these games.
At least now I get it that it was supposed to be Darkseid daughter Amazon killer and you visit also Donna Troy that is bugged out ofc.

I don't know if this is the biggest place to download games, but it's certainly one of the best places to discuss them outside of a developer's discord, etc. But a lot of people get their downloads at those other sites, often having to pay extra for faster download speeds...
Most of the other download sites, I rarely even see comments for stuff I've released here. The number of downloads aren't tracked here (i.e. how many times a download link has been clicked) but some of those other sharing sites do keep a tab on the number of downloads. It can be a lot...
Enthralled Pt 4 (my silly crossover comic that I 'release exclusively' here) showed up on SVSComics and RomComics within 24 hours of it being included in the latest updates here, so I know how quickly these things are spread across the net. I find it oddly amusing as you can get faster downloads here for free for my comic (and also that FmF game I'm one of the creators of) and converse with me too in the relevant threads. Not a lot of that going on (there's a few pages in the relevant threads), but at least the option is there for people that want to talk about my stuff.
This thread has over 30,500 posts. Sure, some of those are (probably well deserved) grumbly posts but you aren't going to find that many posts about this game anywhere else, including on the developer's Patreon!
So yeah, as far as discussing this game, this thread wins as far as number of posts and such I think!
Note that F95Zone has over 5 million members, but I'm guessing that 99% of those are lurkers. If even 5% of those five million people posted regularly, threads would be out of control!

Ok since this is starting to feel like a court case drama of sorts, I just wonder, why didn't SR7 release the Mercy update prior, literally if you swapped it back a few months ago it would be whole and complete. If he did that previously, there might have been a chance of nickname and even a slut outfit for Mercy. So at this point you guys have pointed it out, her content is like 95% done basically if we go by a few numbers.
We're not going into the reason on why he's greedy/excuses/can't deliver promises/time scheduling interference business etc. But this will all go back to the roadmap plans nevertheless; if he said "oh hey the Amazonians + Themiscyra event will be coming in two months, here's part 1 then part 2!" would work out. There's so much miscommunication (found the right word for that) makes me thing is he really bad at socializing. Hey, I'm socially anxious irl and online too, but your ability/job as a creator, a game maker sometimes dictates what to do and taking control. If he had a good vision, it wouldn't be like that. It's a bit like DC/WB (which I hope they're improving rn), so again I reiterate using the crowd psychology effect (divide and mob mentality too), it's also how he thinks he's got that authority as a singular entity. His personality is probably why it drove away the team and reverting to one man army job when we know he's incapable of doing so in the last few years, but SR never listens, ever.
So I urge any of you who have not played/downloaded the recent version or the last few versions, maybe really wait until the end of the year, I will say that all content will be worthwhile because the buildup and content will feel much longer and bigger.

This is possibly one of the best/worst threads I've been in. I like conversing with you too! It's quite enjoyable and I love your works.

Then you could do 2-3 cycles of thymiscira updates, without angering people at all. Hell, I bet you could have delayed 1st update a month with the hype.
