So is this game like done, finished? Because I see they are already spamming posts on some other game on their patreon.

I get the confusion, hopefully this will clear it up for you.
PC= Ren'py full version (we're taking our Android version and converting it currently)
Android = Stand alones will be exclusive to android (No PC versions), and we will continue to me the large Android version
Mac = Ren'py full version
Unity= is going to be depreciated as soon as our full Ren'py is out.

Not at all, SU is still very active. And I disagree with the spamming comment. We make posts every 4-7 days.
I guess I can see how you arrived at that conclusion. But our "money" from SU isn't vanishing (we're only down 7% yoy), we're Gunsmoke Games, and we just wanted to do something else after 10 years.

We just got our internal initial alpha in. Henshin has been working on powers, and leveling systems. SR7 is designing the missions, and there is still the core Rogue, and Kitty assets left. I can't really give an estimate at this point as things are coming together rapidly. I don't see it moving past September tbh.

Finish SU first? Considering the parts still needing work, I guess they'd never get to any different game, be it BoB2, X-Men, or whatever, before the 2040s.
Been super critical in the past, periodically check in. If they can re-establish some consistency with the new game, happy to even throw a few bucks their way again as long lapsed patron. Gotta re-earn my trust though, the years of ever fewer, ever smaller, ever sloppier releases for SU and just endless unfinished events and systems isn't just "Unity bad".

I keep trying to reinstall this game but am getting a "error 0x8000fff: catastrophic failure". I've never had this before. Tried doing file repair, scans, etc. Nothing shows up, what am I missing?

Have you tried 7zip? Sometimes when I extract the files, that shows up, but 7zip bypasses that.

Good question, and I will repeat my answer from earlier. When I first proposed a pivot, I wanted to accomplish a few things. I wanted to create a playbook on how to make excellent small games, a niche I think is under represented. To do this well I felt it was best to start from scratch rather than have some preliminary work done (art design, brainstorming, etc). So I proposed a small game that is in SR7's powerslave wheelhouse.
As for finish SU, that's not what we ever intend to happen. Sure we are looking to tie up loose ends. But we will never cease adding to it.
Thanks for the vote of cautious approval. If you are serious then I would check our patreon in a few months and notice the changes to patron involvement.
I do want to add that your statement aligns with what we have been seeing. Your frustration with SU development isn't unique, even if I disagree with some of the statements. But with our small projects we're going to make supporters a key part of the process. Like we just chose the name via patron input. Next we have the logo, for them to help design.
It worked! Thanks! New PC so I hadn't redownloaded a file zipper and was making use of windows doing a good enough job lol.
Question when every time I try to update the game in my android it Doesn't work I have uninstalled the game to get the new version is there anyway to fix it
