Now that I'm on a short break I actually have time to... respond, maybe? Anyway.
Have to differentiate from the masses somehow, my rendering skills are okay... ish most of the time, so I have to do it with a story. And "good vs evil" fantasy/sci-fi/cyberpunk/steampunk stories is something I personally prefer, and trying to weave the sex into the so it feels natural part of it, not just tacked on for sake of porn.
That's the plan. As long I'm physically able I'll continue to work towards finishing the VN. And I've already finished one so I know what to expect with the process. Also my work ethic, if you will, requires me to finish what I've started. As long as I'm not dead that is. So rest assured, I'm not going to randomly drop it because I didn't get $50.000 on patreon or something.

(Played both paths and Li definitely seemed more relevant to the occult story being told.)
I love your dialogue-heavy writing style, and I'm eager for more.
One question, though: we are on v0.5.0 and still no sign of hotty with the prosthetic leg in the main pic. When will she be introduced?

I'm going to be honest here, the version numbering is meaningless, mostly. There is certain amount of days I do at minimum, which is 35 if I recall correctly, somewhere there I don't have the manuscript or the notes in front of me at the moment. But the over all length depends on how the pacing goes, if I feel that I need to add something I'll add it. So at version 0.5.0 we are at best 1/7th done of the story so there is plenty of time for people to make appearances
And that being said, Susan makes here first appearance in 0.6.0, with continuation in 0.7.0, if you chose so. But regardless of that choice, she has her part to play in the story.

Unless you write her as being completely unlikable, I will definitely choose to continue with her. She was the character that interested me the most when I first saw the game.
She has her problems, and she can be a bit of a bitch occasionally. But beyond that, I guess everyone needs to judge her by themselves. And either way, if she (or any character) provokes some kind of emotion, being it dislike or loving her, I've done my job right. And for the record, I liked writing her.

I just saw on patreon update 0.6.0 dropped yesterday. These updates are being pumped out fast
