YAY! finally VEE gets progressive outfit! i can't wait for it!
Out of curiuosity, what were the options on that poll?

what other wonders you got in mind for V2.30?
Options were
- Moira
- Seraphine
- Vee
- any
with any having 30% and Vee getting around 25% (cumulated SubStar and Patreon)

2.30 will expand the RPG module to surface missions / away missions and integrated into the story.

Khelara racing is also still on the list.

Preview 2.30

Hi, with V2.20 public release being scheduled for15th August and code being largely stable, I have moved on to the next version content. Polls on Patreon and Subscribestar have voted for Vee's outfits getting a makeover.

Here is a small preview on one of her progressive uniforms. ;)
Based on some existing assets I retextured /modded.
Now that the outfits have been updated, would there be any possibility of using the blue uniform? It's a bit strange that we hire a pirate, a robot, the patrol worries about a hacker... that's why if it were possible to make the blue uniform mandatory for everyone, at least at the beginning in the first solar system.
I find it a little odd to mandate a uniform but only have them wear it if we tell them to. It would make more sense if, after the uniform event, it was mandatory, and the rest of the characters would already wear it when they joined the crew. And in other systems, it was free uniforn or after the Krell event.

I also think it looks weird when characters happily put on the Krelian uniform, but quickly change when they log out. It would be cool if they wanted to wear it all the time.

Hello guys, I didn't play this game for like half a year (hard disk died, and I didn't feel like playing cz I lost my save file), and I finally decided to check what's new. I have few questions and ideas... :
1) Is there any reason to keep 3 infiltrator (I-type) bots, other than to get achievement? Also wouldn't it be cool if reward during these special missions (where I-type bot is usable), corelated to quality or quantity of I-type bots? For example the higher score/value - the better bonus rewards (beside story related items or data that they steal). Or if we send more than 1 I-type bot (but no more than 3), they could also bring better rewards. In Iltari station it doesn't make sense to send more than 1 bot, but during lab mission or other missions I don't see why not.
2) In Quthor station, in Zayla's club we can pay one of the dancers and make her quit her job. Zayla will later complain how business is slow.

What if we were to pay other girls 5-10m each and make them quit as well. After this we could offer Zayla to buy her night club for ~50-100m and with this become space pimp manager. We could then go on side mission and look for dancers, booze etc.
3) This was teased in December, is it implemented yet?

A set of two cargo underverse subsystems was included in V2.10
In V2.20 I added a complete set of new Underverse subunits as next step, which took a bit more work than anticipated (I had to refactor about 500 lines of Subsystem code...lesson learned: do your code design right the first time :))
Launcher and engine are not yet released.

As to infiltrators, in V2.20 they can be used in the RPG combat module, so up to 3 is recommended...

In a 2.10_012c game that was started fresh with that version, I have problems with Moira:
- she is not indicated with a red dot on the ship map, neither in the lab nor c2
- after talking to her in the lab and getting to know she likes to drink, and then giving her an Astropolitan drink at 18:00 in C2, I get a message "I should find out whether Moira likes drinks".

her dot only becomes available after she officially joined the crew (after cureing the drengarian flew waiting for a few days to be allowed to leave3 the station)

What happens if you train her in any skill?
since you retain +2 Quality Controll points?
Pretty sure you would have to retrain here some after going through a QC check with that bot. Not sure if it would be worth it to gain a whopping +2 to some stat.
You can't actually QC Galaxina and the bot shell has some boosted stats of its own. So you would remove the shell, drop a handful of stats, QC the underlying bot and gain a staggering +2 points to something and then have to retrain all of her other stats once you place the shell back on the bot.
It wouldn't drop back to zero for all stats, but the ones added by the shell would have to be retrained.
How to get type G personal shell?
You have to steal it. Kind of.

While you are playing the game there should be an announcement about a stolen Galaxina prototype bot. When you find and defeat the pirate that has her, you will have the option to be a good boy and immediately return the shell to the proper authorities or you can say fuck it and talk to Nemhi about cracking the shell and putting that fine Galaxina ass of hers to work.

If you have already returned the shell, you are out of luck, you get once chance at that in a new game

Nimhe downloaded the blueprints later in the game. She can craft them.

Pulling the shell to QC loses about 400,000,000 credits. Nimhe crafted this shell from blueprints after I returned the shell for the reward.

Unless it's a bot from a pervious build where calculations for prices were not yet adjusted.
I am aware of the struggle with retraining, though that's hardly more than an inconvenience, so I'd rather wonder wether the lack of QC upgrades may be from an outdated calculation that would drastically be reduced when changed

Actually no... you can either copy the case with the replicator and/or have a talk with Nhime a few days after returning it, you'd in both cases get a duplicate.

kinda figured... still impressive screen^^

I'm a bit stuck on a few of the gallery items, any help would be appreciated;

I have 15 Sluttiness on T'Ris and 11 on Vee - according to the walkthrough: "Once SLU is 11 you can talk Vee into teaching T'Ris something new", however, stalking and talking to Vee at every hour of a full day does nothing.

I've maxed out all stats on Khelara as well, however, despite "visiting" the Leather Forge every hour while she is there, and chatting to both her and the owner, I still haven't managed to see her dance?

Also, I have not been able to unlock the gallery entries that have a hint saying "Finish Expert Level Disciplining [Insert name] - Krell Outfit"?

For Vee you need to unlock all bridge interactions first
For Khelara use the Multipass on her to tip her
So once you maxed out obedience by punishing the respective girl twice with highest loyality outcome they will be able to wear the Krell uniform... just finish on perfect with that item on and you'll get it... might need 2 repetition... not sure about this actually, but there is one with plug and one without plug... which is ironically harder to get since the high effective combos require a plug

If I understand your statement correctly, you are saying that it is completely worthless to keep the Galaxina Shell.

(According to your statement) if you turn in the shell right when you get it, your character will gain 50 million credits for the bounty AND you can 'just talk to Nimhe' after a few days and get a 'free Galaxina Shell duplicate'.
I must have missed the update where you can get a free Galaxina Shell by turning it in to Iltari station immediately and then just talk to Nimhe and get a Galaxina shell without having to crack the one you find and then reseal it to turn in the shell for the quest completion.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here, all this time, I thought you had to keep the shell (you know, steal it) and forego the 50 million credit bounty, then talk to Nimhe and she will crack the encryption on it so you can use it on bots in the arcade.
After that, use the shell to your heart's content until you reach the end game and gain access to the replicator. Where you can then talk to Nimhe again and she can reseal the Galaxina shell, which you can then use on the replicator and finally return the resealed shell for the 50 million credit bounty and complete the mission.

The problem I have with this approach is that, by the time you are in the last system and can use the replicator to create a second copy and return the original, 50 millions for the reward will be probably a pittance at that point for any competent player. The only reason to do it would be clearing the mission log, and maybe the extra screenshots for the extra galaxina episode.

You can even reseal the case if you give it to Nhime with an advanced controll cube.
Many people must have complained, as in returning the shell also unlocked additional Galaxina Episodes and Quests.

Useing the Replicator however is quiet expensive in regards of required materials

It sounds like you have played through the game, probably multiple times, and from that point of view, you are absolutely correct. There is no reason to wait until the end game, gain that minor pittance of cash, and 'complete' a quest just for completion sake.

Think about it from the point of someone that has never played the game before and is coming into the game in a 'fresh, blind' play through.

At that point, they would have no magic Multiverse pod to use from a previous save, no super bots earning millions of credits, and are struggling to afford BFT torpedoes or MK II ship gear. 50 million credits can be a hell of a boon IF you are someone just starting out in the game for the first time.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That was how it was for me the very first time I played the game. Gaining 50 million credits NOW, was much more helpful than gaining 50-100 million credits over time from a sexy super bot in the arcade.
My second play through had a multiverse pod that was loaded with collapsar and voron torpedoes, highly skilled and well trained bots, MK II and MK III ship components, a Hell Hammer with 6 underverse effectors, a barbed carapace to sell for cash and a stack of cloak and engine action modules.
But for that very first play through, the 50 million credits was a much better boost (to me), mostly since I only had Gen 1 and 2 bot frames to put shells on.

You wouldn't have to... completing bounty hunting missions in Quotor in order to gather GS, P, F shells, aswell as defeating your avarage pirate will already ensure 50 mil is a pittance.
I mean encountering that auctioner already costs between 5 aand 50 mil credits in order to get the best equipment buyable for the ship (engine and Cargo Compressor MK III)
Heck I normally farm in Krell space until MCs Tech score is atleast Level 30 from defeating 3 Krell lashers per encounter (easy with 3 of those purple Torpedos and gun, even better after haveing the Voronian cloak shield).
The Pod is only good to reduce the grind in the first system to avoid hunting prirates for more controll cubes.
