thanks for the report. Registered the issue for analysis.
In order to be exact, i waited a long numbers of day before trying the mil crate maybe some other value broke something on my playthrough.

(Actually i just bought the Voron Hyperdrive, and I have some questions regarding the game/suggestion, especially with dodging system incoming in 2.30.

Is there any advantage to :
- leveling Jim up ? If not, i suggest something like % global damage reduction per level / % dodging laser per level or an augmentation of loots % table.
- upgrading hull plating ? I noticed the numbers of "dispersed energy" in Engine Interface, but each time enemies hits my hull it's just destroyed, the hull power don't seems to change anything, even with underworld plating and basic enemies. If not i suggest a % dodging or blocking depending on hull quality.
- overcharging with Elite AI Core the hyperdrive ? If not i suggest a reduction of the time travel by 1 or 2 hours per Elite AI Core, if maxed with Voron Hyperdrive it will make you arrive at destination at 11:00.
- overcharging with Elite AI Core the Pulse Engine ? I did not see any change. I suggest a % dodge from mines in combat.
- overcharging with Elite AI Core the Mining Laser ? I saw the 150 -> 180% upgrade in mining game, but i did not see any differences with or without overcharging, but the random loots make this hard to verify.
- overcharging with Elite AI Core the Uplink ? If not i suggest a % keeping cloak after 1 action in combat or a % destroying close mines without damage or a % hijack a random 1/multiple enemies ships reducing his/their AP.

  • Better hull plates will still be destroyed on hit but will absorb more damage, possibly preventing strong attacks from further damaging your ship.
  • Captain's level does not currently affect much: which investments are available and some parts of mission generation. More affects were (I think) planned but not implemented.
btw, yv0751, I think you should add an extra check to the item lists for rollMission, kind = transport:
Python:
and x.attr.get("LVL", 0) <= GAME.mc.lvl
This will prevent clogging the mission list with jobs for items that you likely don't have access to early in the game.

A couple of suggestions for hyperdrive

- Multi-jump: 115+ and you can skip one system while jumping, like going directly from Iltari to Xenos, cost is highest of the two., 130+ you can skip two system, like Iltari to NX010, again price being the highest of the jumps needed.

- Instant jump: 130+ (or whatever you think is best) and hyper-jumps no longer takes time if you have Xenos/Underverse hyperdrive subsystem.

For some reason I can't raise my tech skill past 10. I've done 112 repair jobs according to statistics and am honestly running out of bot parts to fix, but nothing happens

to get from 10 to 15 you can simply upgrade parts in your laboratory. It is the little upwards pointing triangle at the main parts of the bot frame.
In future versions, I will avoid such a deadlock by giving a hint that the main character cannot learn anything anymore by doing an action that is not suitable to raise the skill further..

I understand the hull system, but the point is that a prefer to have my subsystems destroyed than my hull, subsystem coasts way less than hull except for AI Cores when you reached Voron plating (than you can have on 1st system,and you can even have inferno hull who is better with the same luck with random space events).
Ok for hyperdrive, i set back my gen 1 AI Core on it.
Ok for uplink too, i didn't know at all. Was it explained ingame?

The combat minigame is not bad at all (i just unlocked it) ! Too bad it can only proc at night around some locations. Maybe a space event in all region can be a good addition? And even in daytime

inversion 2.3 there will be away missions for the crew and the new mini game in different locations :)

All Elite Add-Ons are not created equal. All Galaxina shells are not equal, either.

I have also noticed that bot earnings seem to be capped. None of mine has ever earned 1 million credits a day but they come close.
While i'm aware not all addon's or shell's are the same the margin of difference is minuscule when comparing same tiers so it's a fare assumption to expect reasonable balance in all bots, and to not do so would just be silly as it would make most bots obsolete, people will only bother with the best ones as there likely to make the most overall income, atleast that my personal opinion anyway.

I don't know much about the daily credit cap on bot earnings but typically 4-5 900k a day earners is more then a enough passive income that you won't ever want for money, for me it's more about just wanting to have 1 of every bot maxed out on the arcade XD

I made that same assumption, and it took me ages to figure it out. I was embarrassed when I learned about it, but yes, you can send higher-IQ bots to the arcade.

You simply have to either be docked at the Pirate base or in the Arellarti System when you send them to the arcade and it will work. If you do it anywhere else, it won't work and you'll be reminded about the IQ restriction...
Yea, I don't think it ever tells you anywhere in the game that this is possible but reminds you multiple times that you can't have high IQ bots on the arcade so it's pretty easy to miss I guess, then again I could be wrong on that and maybe it does tell you, guess I should stop skipping dialogue XD

Very professional work attitude and quite fast. I usually had a track proposal within days (I'd give some examples or mood description).

Whoever is in search of a professional sound artist I can highly recommend DavidKBD.
He can be contacted via his page in itch or on Fiverr.
Usually around 50-100$ per track (with a few recursions possible...)


Yes, I also tried AI but I got tired of getting not the sound I wanted and the endless retries.
Only have one AI Track in the game now (The Waystation System Symphonic Track) I think.

What is GW and why is it going down and has a red exclamation mark on it?
it's your "armor" (it's more like the energy you can deviate from a direct hit) you have to replate your hull in order to solve this. If you start the game you can find sometimes free one in your engine room's crate or buy it for a few bucks in Iltari station

Yes, but later in the game, and there's a bit of randomness to the availability. (My recommendation is to side with the zealots long enough to get the cannon, outfit it with all the needed AOE additions, and then use the orb to send it back to yourself and start again)

One more question, how do I use bot shells? I’ve crafted some but I don’t know how to use them
