Just my opinion.
Steam policy sucks... so No, it is not a good idea
I think you can start a new season or a spin-off using Laura as model and as she is after the conclusion of her tragedy.
I don't like definitive endings that contain “the moral of the story,” which basically become a judgment on the protagonist's behavior during the days of the story... because Laura's behavior has solid motivations. I don't like definitive endings where the protagonist wins or loses, which are considered the common sense of morality and conventional conformism.
And unless the ending involves Laura's death, life must go on... a story must teach us to get back up after every defeat... in life, nothing is over as long as we are alive.
You could write a story about how Laura was before she married that idiot.
Or you could show us how Laura is today after what she had to go through... Or you could start a game with Beatrice as the MC and have Laura appear in some scenes too.
A game with Beatrice would be a hit for sure.
The best endings for a story are those that leave hope that the story can continue towards new adventures.
Definitive endings, on the other hand, are good only if they are moving or involve the death of the protagonist while she is happy knowing she has defeated her enemies, but suddenly, during her well-deserved vacation, she has a plane crash.
Just my 2 cents

Why sit on the corner and cry?→ Sit in the corner and cry?
