My money is on he is one of her protagonists and helping the people working against her. That's just my theory however.
He wouldn't be a Protagonist. A Protagonist would be Helping Laura. He's more likely an Antagonist, working with the people bringing her down and working against her. Think Pro=Good Guys, An=Bad Guys.

Weekly Update 21/2025

Hey everyone!
I’m back from my trip abroad and already back in motion. This week, I completed another event for the upcoming game update, and I’ve also just published the latest Shorts release (check it out if you haven’t already!).
Next week, development will continue at full speed—no more delays, no more travel, just focused work.
Thanks as always for your support and patience!

anyone have walkthrough? help file download link is dead and patreon post(?) is deleted, the one that i can find is only the 2.1 version help file

Nemiegs has a walkthrough on his patreon, why does no one post it here with the releases?
My mistake, the walkthrough is on the patreon of someone calling themself B.B.,which coincidentally is also the nickname used for "Big Boss" in the game.
do you still have the file? the patreon page has been removed

Weekly Update 22/2025

Work is going according to plan, and I’m slowly inching closer to the next game update.
Will it stay that way next week?
Well… I’m not sure.
Because I did it.
I bought an RTX 5090.
Don’t ask how. Just know that all my organs are still in place.
(Though my brain might have taken some collateral damage.)
Luckily, I live in a forest and can now survive indefinitely on needles and fir cones. It’s not delicious, but it’s an honest living.
As soon as I finish this weekly update, I’ll begin the ritual of installing my new PC components.
Please keep your fingers crossed. Toes, too, if you can spare them.
If all goes well, next week will roll on smoothly.
If not—well, at least I’ll have a very shiny, costly paperweight.
PS: Anyone want to buy a gently overworked RTX 3090? Slightly traumatised, but still warm and full of memories.

A Letter from RTX 3090
Dear Nemiegs,
It’s been... intense.
We’ve rendered together. We’ve overheated together.
I’ve hummed through long nights while you sculpted pixels into questionable animations.
I’ve seen things, Nemiegs. Things.
I gave you my cores. My vRAM. My soul.
And now... a younger, sleeker, more expensive model has arrived. Typical.
But I’m not angry.
I’m just... tired.
My fans are wheezing. My thermal paste is vintage.
I’ve earned this rest—or a second life mining crypto in a sketchy garage.
Take care, old friend.
Don’t let 5090 think it’s better than me.
You’ll see—she might be fast, but she’ll never have my character.
Farewell,
RTX 3090

Weekly Update 23/2025 RTX5090: A Love-Hate Story

Hello, dear friends.
As I sit down to write this weekly update and look back at the days since the last one... I’m honestly not quite sure how I feel.
Irritated? Slightly disappointed? Existentially confused? Possibly all of the above.
Technically, I successfully transitioned from my old RTX 3090 to the new, high-end RTX 5090.
Only to discover that the tools I use to build the game aren’t quite ready for that leap.
Let me explain.
As many of you are aware, I utilise DAZ3D to create visual content.
The only reason I need a powerful GPU is to handle complex files and render them fast. Every part of my workflow is optimised for speed, because I’m building this game in my free time, outside of my full-time job, and every minute spent with my 3D girls needs to count.
Now, yes—I knew that the RTX 5000 series introduced a new Iray rendering architecture.
Yes—I knew DAZ would require a full rebuild to support it.
Yes—I even knew that the plugins I rely on wouldn’t work in the new DAZ 2025 Alpha.
However, what I wasn’t ready for was the fact that the viewport is so painfully slow; working inside DAZ 2025 is basically impossible.
So now, I build my scenes in the old DAZ and render them in the new one.
And yes, this means I can’t preview what the final image will look like before rendering.
Could I use the CPU for that preview? Technically, yes.
But my scenes are so complex that my poor CPU just quietly cries and gives up.
So now, I juggle two programs, trust my instincts, and hope for the best.
BUT! On the bright side, the new card renders images 3 to 4 times faster than the 3090—an enormous boost for the ongoing Remaster process.
Maybe one day, DAZ will catch up with the future. Until then… it is what it is.

Now, with a card this powerful, you'd think I could finally pursue my dream of creating photorealistic images and films using AI, right?
Well... disappointment came to visit again this week.
I dove into ComfyUI and, to its credit, I did learn a lot.
But either the tech isn’t there yet, or I still have a lot to learn (probably both).
I attempted to achieve photorealism using Flux1Dev, Wan, and Flux1-Kontext Dev.
Only the Kontext experiments produced something worthwhile—you can see a few of the working samples here.
Where it worked, it worked rather well. Unfortunately, most of the time... it didn’t.
Flux1Dev? Honestly—trash.
Wan surprised me—stable, efficient, and capable.
However, there was a catch: all the characters looked the same. Especially the faces.
And for a project like this, with 10,000+ images and distinct characters, that’s a dealbreaker.
Yes, I now theoretically understand how to train a custom LoRA based on my game’s characters.
However, doing that would render the entire process so time-consuming that it would lose all practical value.
Sure, I’d get an AI influencer named Laura—but is that really worth it? I’m not so sure.
If anyone here has experience or insight in this area, please feel free to share your knowledge. I’d love your input.
Next week, work on the game will continue.
Slowly. Painfully. Heroically.
Thank you so much for your support—it truly means a great deal to me.
Have a great weekend, and may your render queues be short and your drivers stable.

Postscript – A Word from RTX 3090 (Now in Comfortable Retirement)
Oh, so now he’s struggling.
Two DAZ programs? No preview? Guess who could preview. Me.
Sure, I wasn’t fast. But I was reliable.
Look at him now—rendering blind, praying to the gods of ComfyUI and pacing nervously while DAZ2025 loads at the speed of a glacier.
Meanwhile, I’m over here, enjoying the quiet, sipping imaginary tea, and occasionally whispering:
"Told you so."
They always think the younger, flashier model will solve everything.
Until they realise: sometimes it's not about power—it's about knowing the quirks of the beast.
And I was familiar with this man’s workflow. Intimately. Pixel by pixel.
Anyway, no hard feelings.
Just a retired warrior watching the new recruit sweat through their first mission.
Best of luck, 5090.
You're gonna need it.

Weekly Update 24/2025 Progress, Pacing & Puzzles

Hello everyone,
It’s time for another weekly update. Let’s start with the technical side of things.
I’ve finished rendering all the images for the events planned in the upcoming game update. The result turned out to be slightly shorter than expected—some scenes are more concise than I had envisioned. I’m considering adding one more event, although I’d rather not force creativity just for the sake of quantity. If there’s something specific you’d love to see in the next update, feel free to let me know—I’m always open to your ideas.
Also, I’ve made a strategic change this time around. I haven’t created any animations yet. I’ve set aside the next two weeks just for that. In the first week, I’ll experiment with AI tools to see if I can convert some static images into animations. If the results aren’t convincing, I’ll still have a full week left to do things the old-fashioned manual way.
If everything goes to plan, Early Access will be available on August 15.
Now, on a slightly heavier note—let’s talk about the existential crisis.
It’s becoming increasingly difficult to cover the rising costs of making this game. Maybe because I’ve never had time to create even a basic business plan for this project. So, at the start of the year, I took a hard look at SR’s weak points and decided to fix them in order to eventually bring the game to Steam—as many of you have encouraged me to do.
But recent events have left me... uncertain.
Payment processors have now reached Steam as well, and censorship is spreading. How far will it go? (even though I don’t use it) has removed all NSFW content due to processor pressure. And let’s be clear—we’re talking about legal content.
For years, I worried about Patreon. Yes, Subscribestar is an alternative, but let’s be honest—it’s smaller, and the platform isn’t exactly user-friendly.
Special Request is slowly nearing its conclusion—only two weeks remain in-game, and they are among the most important.
So now I’m asking myself:
→ Should I create a completely clean version of SR for Steam?
→ And host a spicier expansion on my own site for those who want the full experience?
→ Move entirely to Subscribestar?
→ Sit in the corner and cry?
And then there’s the whole Remaster situation.
My motivation was simple: I wanted to transform Special Request into the most professional product I could possibly manage—something to present to a wider audience on Steam.
That meant taking it even more seriously:
• Making it more cohesive and polished
• Combining the core game with the kinetic version into a single file as difficulty levels instead of separate builds
• Replacing weaker or illogical events
• Removing pointless/comical storylines that go nowhere
• And adding new content that actually deepens the story
The new material in the Remaster will be as big as a full update—maybe even more. I’m almost finished with the visual overhaul of the original material.
Now I’m asking myself:
→ Should I pause the next regular update and instead focus one full update cycle on completing the Remaster once and for all?
→ Could I even manage to compress the game enough to build an Android version myself?
Jeez... I should hire a full-time consultant to help me figure out which direction is up... My brain is basically a blender at this point. But I’m still standing. Kind of.
And you—yes, you wonderful people reading this—you’re the reason this project still stays afloat. Your support means more to me than I can say.
Thank you for sticking with me. Let’s see where this crazy ride takes us next.
Nemiegs
PS: If anyone has thoughts, experience, or just a good conspiracy theory about the future of NSFW game distribution—my inbox is open.
