Still no specifics of WHY they won't go to Subscribestar or DLsite. Ironic how they mention how painful it is to change things when they wouldn't have the change the game, but rather the site they host it on. The solution is right next door doods. What do you mean "no longer make games" are you being sued? Are the cops on yer asses or something? Maybe you're being blackmailed into not mentioning it at all. I dunno, EXPLAIN.

On the topic of how I would personally revise the story. Give Raury androphobia(fear of men) due to an incident during her childhood or something. Since her father was never around she would've never gotten any gifts from him. So the Protagonist decides to get her "her first toy" as a substitute for their dad not being around to do so. I ain't a writer that's just something that popped into my head.
Lool, like 50 times better than what is offered at the moment, just like that. I'm assuming half the reason behind the dodgy storylines is a translation issue; most of the people working under the studio gingko name speak Korean, and very little English.
In the discord server, they had someone who spoke both quite well, and was given a role of community Q&A, basically answering any questions people had. They were also given scripts of the next update before release, and would go through them, along with me and another community member, correcting a lot of errors. However, they left the server a few weeks before it was deleted, and I nor the other member have been asked about translations anymore.

So they don't want make the lose of throwing 100$ on steam on a censored & butchered game. rather than keep the game at his original state and release it on a free and transformative platform free of any kind of censorship :/ ? is that what that message means ?
Huge ego on actually not recognizing they mess up by adding the game on steam and be forced to continue development at this way. rather than recognize their mistake and continue making the game on his original state to be later on released on patreon and be published on any other platform
No wonder why that coder guy ran off with the money on this project lol

My guess is they don't want their game pirated and or to get screwed over again by someone taking the money and running which yes this is a site for that and also to minimize controversy ….. I don't know what goes on in the discord or between the patron's but from the detail's from the thread seems like alot of poor decisions mixed with a rabid community . This is not against you or Duskyer and alot of content creators do promote their games on this website as well as those brave souls who get us the goods for free . Feel free to correct me on any details because I am genuinely curious to see where this goes and I do agree that if they want to make this easier they would move to SubscribeStar but I can see why they don't want to move websites because SubscribeStar compared to Patreon is a lot less visited to my knowledge . I am not defending the creator but between the coder leaving and from what I have heard from this newest update and the constant translation issues .

We aren't asking for a complete abandon Patreon and move to Subscribestar. We're saying why not do both? This isn't even an issue of too much to work on both versions when the art of the older shortstacked version is pretty much done. The reason the community is rabid is because they STILL haven't specified the reason these changes are being made or why they aren't considering an alternate version. Any questions related to Subscribestar or alternate versions is met with radio silence. Having both Patreon and Subscribestar is an option, but they won't explain why they won't take that route.

Fair , Also there is another game that suffer a similar issue on patreon and they switched to subscribestar ….. its still going fine but the dev's for this game just seem to be indecisive. They don't want to change platforms for some reason or another …. I still don't understand why they would try to put this on steam …. sure other games of this caliber have gone that route but you either pay a good chunk of money or still are in development .

Is it really that shocking that a bunch of pervy geeks wouldn't have much business savvy beyond trying to appeal to the broadest market possible? Or that, hampered by that flawed ideology and a severe language barrier, they would immediately cave to the first whiff of any bad PR? It really is a damn shame that if that language barrier wasn't so persistent they could've circumvented this whole issue with better writing, but that's the nature of the gooey beast we're dealing with.
Others have alluded to it here, but there are many story-telling devices that would have helped avoid any outrage over people with very mature, very womanly bodies acting immature, for example:
-- Referenced childhood trauma contextualizing immature behavior
-- A brief, emotional backstory to justify the stuffed bear; possibly even leading to implemented and expanded on in gameplay
-- A timelapse non-sexually showing some characters before they did physically mature, to draw a clearer distinction between that physical maturity and their mental immaturity
The list goes on, but every single thing comes down to one problem: context. You also see girls with bodies like these in porn all the time, acting far younger than they really are, but the context of being able to see a flesh and blood adults makes that fetish okay. Even in regular life, there are women in their 20s built like this, who love stuffed animals and like to act bratty, or 'little'. If only the devs were willing to find someone to narratively contextualize their project for them, no compromises or further development setbacks would have to be made. It's just too bad.

Agreed. The problem here is the backstory they give to the "main" characters, which is basically 0. It was simple at the begging, but hey, it made some sense. Now it's just some neighbors. One of them boinked your father's sausage, the other one is angry at you because you left them (?¿?¿¿wtf) and the other one is a girl that acts like a kid because who the fuck knows. I really hope they focus on the writing of the game, because it needs a real improvement. Not only for the translation issues, but for the whole context and build-up of the lore/backstory/characters.

Game is doomed as farm my own corcern so better check the background of the game before supporting them because they have bad management in many waysy
If i remember correctly, it should be Dating My Daughter. They were on patreon once but due to the Incest nature, they swopped over to SubscribeStar. Kept the game alive and its still their most popular game till now while retaining the incest plot
