The wood/nail/paint for the rocking horse are of different variety from the one you need to create toybox. They won't be 'spawned' but dropped by enemies after defeat.
if you played the beta, nothing. Just a new low quality animation with a new doll. the rest is just scenes with the dungeon dolls and the shopkeeper

game creation is't always that cut and dry - maybe the dev was 'inspired' to do some work in an area that might not mke logical sense for what you want done when, some shit might be easier to do at some times, etc
If they were totally sane, they wouldn't be making porn game. Or just daz3d game with mostly linear story and minimal game play. Animated 2D CG, actual game play and usage of a general purpose engine like unity instead of somethng more specialized like RPGM or RenPy: the three of them are additional dificulties. So dev that goes for two or three of them are either very tallented, unemployed or most likely just don't realize the amount of work it will be require or don't care about being able to deliver in any forseable future.
