I think it's really cool hearing how people approach that song. Some people get fairly creative. Something that seems pretty strong is starting with an early Retribution, stick on Mei, and just let Yu deplete. This will trigger Retribution, giving you a bunch of white modifiers for free, and restoring Yu in the process. You can also maintain your SS with it.

That's actually pretty genius. I didn't even think to use Retribution (and to be honest, it probably shouldn't work that way), since no other song in the game has an auto-loss mechanic that would allow you to lose without missing a note.

What I was trying to do at the beginning was use Stamina as my starting perk, then try to balance the three blessings against potential curses. Was getting hammered by the tempos and fission modifiers.

When I understood that you could farm Mei, I went with Glass as the starting, grabbed Stamina as my first, then farmed blessings after taking a 1* curse and negating the other 8. That was much better and landed me an S first try.

Amazing game, can't believe this is not more popular. The porn scenes are amazing, the story is cool and especially the gameplay is engaging! Liked every minute of playing it, the saving mechanic was weird but ehh... didn't really take away anything.

The game autosaves. The imports are there just in case it's needed, like if you played the demo in the browser but don't wanna restart from scratch on the download.

You can finish Mei as many times as you like and save up 9 blessings before trying to take on any of Yu curses. This will let you go through all of Yu without taking a single curse.(You can also grab other white modifiers if you like too... Stamina will help with the drain of Yu's bar while on Mei.
*EDIT* - Note you need to have a blessing before getting the curse to negate it.. it acts more like a shield

That being said. This song is quite long winded and requires patience in v0.15. It has been noted, and in the next build, Yu will have less curses, and will take less time.

To be fair it isn't actually that long if you plan it out properly. As there are gaps with no notes you should take stamina (the one that reduces progress loss on downtime), once or twice. Then you can just do normal Needle/Crit/Glass combo and speed through it.

I could do a full Mei in 10s, maybe less, once it was all up and running.

The stamina once are VERY important on this one though, and I kinda like that it took longer than others, the others are over before they've barely started when stacking needles!

I just kept going back and forth, taking boost to how fast I could complete the easy one and only blocked the bad and very bad curses. I tried to keep the simply bad one once, but I realized my mistake when they started triggering a second lane :'(

Eventually, I could finish the easy one in a few strokes, so I usually kept it close to the top to use the shopping time to skip the irregular part of the song. I usually get thrown off when the song changed and I lost too many run to that. Once I could comfortably skip it, it became very easy. Get one close ot the end, push the other as much as possible, skip irregular, repeat.

Well, yea. I couldn't get a SS while fapping but I could still pass with at least an A rank.
After getting the rhythm you don't even need to look at the circles (unless you have the harder modifiers).

Huh, I just did Ritual for starter card, no drinks cause I never bothered with the machines. Got Yu's bar right before the 1st curse and then grinded the heck out of Mei till I had enough Curse resistance cards. Pretty much took every possible speed up to the point one Mei bar would clear in a couple taps. Nearly did it first try, but I got impatient and underestimated the Curse cards

Not to diminish this game, but there are other rythm based games too (only one I personally know off the top of my head is "BeatBanger", which is more furry oriented I guess, but it has modding support with some human characters too, so whatever floats your goat).


On an unrelated note, it took me faaar too long to notice that "Secret" is the name of the guy in the bar xP
