Yeah, that's great and all, but when my post gets deleted without a notification, especially ones talking about censorship, then you are out of line. Just my two cents.

But seeing as I didn't delete those specific posts you are talking about, I can't be "out of line", as you call it.. As I have explained to you already, if we (mods/staff) are cleaning a thread, we are going to mass delete. It should give you a little warning that off-topic posts will be deleted, no matter who posts them.

Why on earth would DC care what some people are writing here? He even refused to register here a while ago so I really doubt that he could care less. Else I doubt that any body would care enough to actually pay people to delete posts in a porn forum in general.

I Dont believe that period.full stop.bickering between members should not clog the forum,many members asked for calm and mod intervention.that should have been enough but these members continued until the mods where left with no choice but and i stopped watching when the pages where reduced from 610 to 608 by mods and i thanked them for it .however because of these few the whole membership of this site is affected as that section is now closed.punishing the many for the fault of a few who could have been easily dealt with.mods deleted posts and instead of warnings/bans to them.the whole membership suffers .i dont agree with the closing of the thread to members who have acted on the best interest of f95zone.thats my thoughts.have a great weekend guys(and girls)

But no, back on track. Why would it be a far-fetched concept? Because a person got better things to do than to argue on the internet? Yeah no, if arguments on the internet wouldn't exist, the internet would probably not exist... well, maybe except for porn. Because it would be unethical? Or because of any other reason? It's an interesting concept of conflict of interest that I feel could use some exploration.

I think that what's making people mad is that knowing the insane money that DC is making from summertime, they expect something more professional than the average amateur porn game. But the real question that we should ask ourselves is: Is he declaring this as a Fappers Worldwide charity ?

Staff/Mods/Uploaders, etc don't have the time or interest to play 95% of the games on here, if it isn't some awesome thing like Depraved Awakenings or My Sweet Neighbors, we really couldn't care less about game.
Also no, we're not gonna write down a reason for every post that is deleted when we have to delete 50 posts in a row, #dealwithit or find another forum that will coddle your little fee feez.

I see a lot of people saying that DC is making 30K/month. Does that mean that Patreon doesn't take a share and that he has no taxes to pay on what is left ?

While polls are interesting you shouldn't let patrons control the direction of the game. I mean, if you run out of ideas take a poll. First, make sure you complete most of the existing story lines. For example: Judith, Mrs Bissette, Ronda, Cassie, Eve, Jane, Annie, Principal Smith (school cult) , Coach Bridget, Liu Wang, Eve's sister. All unfinished stories, BUT we have new teachers? MC should have the option to "night swim" with Cassie if you know what I mean.
Lastly DC needs to hire a manager to supervise staff and maintain a work flow chart and time schedule. Let DC be creative. He enjoys hosting live art sessions, let someone else manage. Somebody F'd up over there at Kompas Productions and DC is having to step in and clean up the mess. Unfortunately it's his name on the game so he ends up getting the blame (deserved or not).

There isn't much arguing with the quality of the product itself (in regards to you mentioning this as a "average amateur porn game"), it's a great drawing and writing quality overall, considering how much the game grew over it's development, I'm honestly impressed that it's basically still just considered .15, shows how big this is gonna be at one point or another.I think that what's making people mad is that knowing the insane money that DC is making from summertime, they expect something more professional than the average amateur porn game. Arguing happens about the things that are sorrounding it. For me (this is personal experience, therefore subjective) it's the lack of information on the main platform, namely patreon, which is why I hang around here, talking about the sorrounding factors. I mean, when information is scattered around several media like a blunderbuss, I hate to sift through every platform to gather a couple pieces of information.
And while I'm already here, I get to hear that the dev can drop an ironical shitpost about the "soon" post, yeah, that part again. Regardless on how it's supposed to be taken, if it was considered ironical, or just a random swing, someone, somewhere, is gonna get offended in our crazy time, and takes it to a point of being so pissed about it that they have to vent their frustration. This then goes over to other media platforms, where they talk about it, like on this forum and cause annoyances to the mods there, the other viewers and so on and so forth.
Then, there's always the money argument, about how much he makes, and for me personally, it's not about how much money he makes, but how he handles the aforementioned stuff in regards to consider how much money he is making. Is a developer really supposed to shitpost about something that is clearly bugging a big chunk of his community? What level of professionalism has to be on display for how much money he is making? I can't tell you that, because I can't see the whole picture, it's as simple as that. I wouldn't even mind if he were to make double the money, more money means more QA and potentially more staff.
So, short and boring story shorter - I'd just like to see more centralized information, regular updates and information, and some more of a professional behaviour, if you could call it that.
p.s. I know I'm probably waaaay to hung up on the shitposting thing, I guess I got offended as well, which is why I'm posting this stuff here, again and this is my way of venting frustration maybe? wow, meta.

Yes, patreon takes 5% and there may be additional payment processing fees as well (which can be siginificant if you've got many 1$ pledges). Taxes and stuff will have to be payed too but since Kompas productions is a real business that actually employs people I have no idea how much that may be. Else you'll always have to take a significant number of declined pledges etc. into account.

@Muff Diver Can you please, on the first page of the game play forum, re-add the stat cheats with a warning? The only stat that really messed with gameplay was agility, but if you've been warned, well, we still get the main forum closed for cluelessness, but that be life sometimes...
