Game have potential, but since its Akabur we know what to expect, the next chapter will just add the same thing but with another crew member.
Mostly, plus add some more content for the others included. At least that's what Rubber wrote on his Patreon. Only wished he would have changed Genie for another pc. No problems with that char, but it is Rubber's 4th game featuring him, so a different prot, like e.g. a real villain, would have been nice. I'm about to test SC and then wait for more to arrive. Curious for any mods already.

You don't decide what versioning system the developer uses...
Keeping in mind his other games, which of those do you think Akabur uses? Indie devs, including Akabur, often seem to be using a milestone system, but since they rarely get to v2, and v1 is rarely a complete game, it is difficult to defend that using a milestone system is actually their intent, as opposed to their random numbering just being the closest to that by chance. I actually think they update numbering based on amount of effort/time they put into a release, which doesn't always translate to what the player sees, thus adding to the impression that the numbering isn't thought through.

I think you make a lot of good points. But whether a developer uses a well thought out milestone system, or whether he pushes out a version increased by a random amount: basing your assumptions on what you think a version number should mean is futile.

, thats the "game part"! :D
yeah, its quite annoying to keep doing the same shit over and over again for almost no reward.
after the first batch of 10 the same, i just skipped it, did all the quest and unlocked it all and viewed it 1 time.
unfortunately thats what we get. Akabur style of game. in Hermione the "public" gave a few variations (just text, but at least something different) here we get visual, but no variations.

still the story is a bit odd, we dont know the plan, but something about saving the galaxy, but the only thing you are doing is to make a channel show, force them to dance/strip and send them home to do some shit.
better if the story started with him waking up there (not genie, another dude without memory, similar to Dark Matter) we did have a "android" onboard, also wiped memory, and crew members in cryosleep. where you need to figure it out, who you are, what you are, and in the same time have some fun with the crew. to have Genie and Jasmine (and eventually Hermione) sucks a bit.

Is it possible to make them strip in this version? Or do all the events and quests?
idk, i only got as far as getting jasmin to strip. and was sorly dissapoited when i realized it was just a chibi ass flash icon haha. This game isn't done yet, it's just his framework basically. set up to be easily added to. I had issues getting things to trigger as well, grinded for hours before i decided to just cheat stats and eventually just checked around in the game files to see what is actually there. Not much. the only things i didn't unlock that were there are outfits for L.O.L.A 2.0, she has the most outfits in the files but i've only unlocked the first two.
As with most akabur games it's best to wait for a later release or modded version since the saves tend not to transfer over well between versions.

Since this is Akabur ... great game, great promise. Menu system should be reworked though, too many sub-menu.
Maybe in 2 years, this game will be complete, happy waiting guys ! :tf:

Came to look at the game, saw 2 pages of comments on Akabur...decided to wait.

Still love Witch/Princess Trainer. Lola was a favorite of mine, wish there was more of her, Iris was good enough.

For SC 34 I guess we have a big release soon ?

There is so much hate towards this game that it feels like people just want something to bitch about, think attacking SC34/Akabur is trendy, or they forget the game isn't done. It was a little grindy, and the UI icons need to be much more clear because they're just not intuitive. For example, I made these changes in about 2 minutes flat to make the UI more friendly for my playthrough:

The game hasn't been refined/polished yet because it's not finished. Interface icons and grinding variables can be patched/tweaked on the fly. It's nothing, development-wise. So, I still say there is enormous potential here and I'm really looking forward to those ... eventual ... updates.

while I'm not a huge fan of akabur's constant delays in any project he does (Hell Iris was modded content he added later into the official project for PT I think some people forget that.) I will say when the games are complete they are playable experiences (save for witch trainer from what I can tell, but that seems to have been a mess from the start.) but it basically goes, his numerical system, then silver which pretty much means complete but not Polished to where it could be, then Gold.

so how I see it so far
PT, a Mess but a polished mess that's playable.
WT, Barely playable mess,
PS, something so basic I'm shocked it isn't finished, I think he just ran out of ideas for transformations and jokes.

SC34, his biggest undertaking but far more playable and organized then his previous games despite being highly undeveloped and grindy still, also if you were going to mod a game this would be the one as it's would probably be the easiest to add characters, costumes, quests, without it standing out too much as the story goes since the PC has an entire cyro chamber of sluts. so this is the game that could be the most expansive as well XD.

Delay implies promise to deliver by a certain time. He works slow, you may as well be angry at the sky for being blue.

I think the thing that bothers fans most about Akabur is that his output is so very slow and there's apparently nothing we can do to make it come out faster. Not praising him, not insulting him, not paying him, not even finding other people for him to work with.

If anything, the main result of him getting a decent wage seems to be that now he's slower than ever, occasionally helping out other people with their shittier projects rather than updating his own.

Maybe there will be a big amazing update to SC34 sometime this year and I'll change my tune, but I'm pretty sure the only thing that would really get his ass in gear is people starting to jump ship on his Patreon. So...if you're funding the guy more than $1 and aren't happy with his output, maaaaaybe drop down to $1 or drop out entirely? Just a thought. Otherwise, I can't see much else helping at this point.

I get what you're saying. You know, Akabur hasn't lied to or mislead any of his fans. We know he works at his own pace, and his patrons seem content to support that. He's told his potential patrons to donate their money to someone else. It's stickied at the top of his Patreon.

So, maybe people should get angry at his patrons for supporting his slow pace, instead of at Akabur? That's who it sounds like they're really angry at. Because Akabur has not done anything wrong, except working at his own pace. He sounds like a pretty cool guy, honestly, from his writing in games as well as his patreon.

He works slow but he actually finishes the job. Cept with witch trainer, thats his one real black mark.
Doesn't he have 4 games? I'm reading his own Patreon page here. One on hold, one finished, one canceled/finished and one he's currently working on?
Do you want me to do the math for you?

Take another look at his blog posts and vlogs over the years, specifically where he talks about how hard he's always working on his games. Then take a look at the level of content in and frequency of his game updates over that time period. I think you'll notice a discrepancy that some might call 'misleading' or 'lying' to his fans about the work he's doing.

To be clear: I don't feel mad at or cheated by Akabur because I understand that this is how he works, and appreciate that I will be able to legitimately play the free games he releases and which, overall, I tend to consider of high or at least interesting quality. But I do hope that the people funding him with more than a token amount per month get mad and that they demand, via their wallets, that he shape the fuck up or learn the hard way that the time to coast on their hard-earned is over.
