Magic Dude As others have said, the mini-games make your game almost unplayable, you really to take the critism on board. My recommendation would be to double the time limit (or remove it entirely), switch the custom pointer to the default one and add a highlight to each item when the pointer is in the right place. I have an additional problem which is a poorly built touch pad that frequently registers left clicks as right ones so several times I nearly beat the mini game only to suddenly find myself on the save screen

Please listen to the players on issues like this, we've all played renpy visual novels before and can tell when one doesn't work as it should.

Eh.. OK I'll add an option after failing the mini-game to skip it. (in 0.2)

Mini News №1

This is news for those of you who wanted to tell Captain Vin about the pirates at the beginning of the game. I added a second game path (it didn't take me long), but in order to try it you will need to start a new game or have saves before the dialogue with the captain in med bay.
This will be available in version 0.2

Mini-news №2

People complained about not being able to complete the minigames or the timer being too short, so I decided to add difficulty levels and the ability to skip the minigames.

Money in the game will be needed to buy quest items. For example, super lubricants or slave girls, etc..

This will be available in version 0.2

Magic Dude Let me try explaining this one last time. The problem is Not the Timer its a Bug with your mini game where you click on the item and nothing happens.

Please check the Code instead of blaming the users ;)

I'm not strong at programming (all I know came from YouTube videos and what kind of code is in other games).

Most likely you are not pointing the mouse at the center of a small object when you click. As far as I understand, there are no problems with large objects.

Awesome game. Waiting for more versions.

Skipping issue is because you set _skipping to False in intro and leave it like that.

I have not experienced this, not even once. User can't aim lol.
Maybe true. The only way I could get past the stupid minigame (and it is stupid) is by spamming the left mouse button as I moved around. There were too many times where I was maybe a pixel or two off of the small items (glow sticks and fire hydrant) and that was enough to miss it. IMO if ANY part of the mouse is in contact with the clickable target, it should register. Pixel precision is your enemy here. This is a porn game... unless that is my mistake all along.

I think adding difficulties and the ability to skip if you can't get past the game is a reasonable and good approach. Thank you for your efforts there.

Maybe I'll add sparkles or something to indicate objects, I don't know yet...

honestly the minigame plays fine if you ask me, though the timer does go a bit too fast. to actually beat it you kinda have to know where all the items are when you start, if you just increase the time it'd probably be fine.

I'm not going to give this a review or something yet, too little gameplay to make an informed opinion. I will wait a few patches for this. I am going to say I like the Renders a lot which makes me really want to see more.
1) I'd like the MC to be a little less ignorant/dumb and maybe a little nicer to others.
2) I think you should make everything that is clickable in every single screen more obvious (In the ship screen I didn't see that I could click on the Command tower thing to get to the captain for a while)
Lastly, people have been going on about the minigames being too hard. And I'm pretty sure I know why after seeing your YT video on it. Higher refresh monitors I.E. 144Hz monitors or something like that make the timer fly by in like 3/4 seconds. Mine did as well. I've seen other games have the exact same issue.
Honestly I think you should remove the timer it really doesn't add anything to the game, minigames are fine. But time limited ones not so much.
Everything above is my opinion ofcourse, and you as the creator do not have to listen to me whatsoever. (except for the 144Hzmonitor bug ofcourse)

I will keep an eye on this game, I want to see more, much more..

Thanks for the advice. I'll think about how to make clickable objects more visible. Maybe I'll do more help in the quest book, or add a brighter frame around...

I found the minigame easy after the first time I completed it. The challange for me was finding the 10th item but after that I found it easy to complete it every time. Never had problems with the time.

I'm playing on my mobile phone via JoiPlay, but the keyboard mini-game doesn't register keystrokes. Could you please add the ability to skip this mini-game as well?

Would it be possible to make the minigames optional? I seriously do not like the minigames. They're obnoxious and annoying and I'm more into the story and not having to click on fifty things in ten seconds just to progress the story. And, as dajunk12 stated, I'm one of those people with physical impairments, and this just aggravates from the story. I'd hate to give up on this, it's got a lot of promise with several subjects I've got interest in.

A brighter frame around clickables sounds like a great idea! and if you think you can make the quest book more informative that might also be extremely helpful to some.
