There is some kind of bug in this update, it don't let you continue main plot on Despina and scenes with Amira could not save in gallery, but from what I saw it works 50/50 for all people, so it's hard to say properly. If you won't got call from Despina after 3 day with Amira you have two ways: restart game from anew (at least it helped ME) or wait fix from Void, he already know about problem and promised deal with it soon.
If the main story special is not loading for you, there's a workaround: do NOT buy the binoculars, and it will trigger after you finish all Day 3s. If you have already bought them, you need a fresh save!
They will be sticking around, yes! As for side characters becoming the main ones, that is also planned (I'm deliberately keeping a few spots empty in the main story), and it will largely be decided first by popularity, and later finalized by a supporter vote. Markala, for example, was the first side character elevated to the main one!

I have a question, will Eleanor appear in future updates? Very well summed up, I myself would prefer it to end in a more romantic atmosphere with one of the ladies we chose along the way. Anything can happen with some of them not being able to end up as a "couple", becoming more like fuck partners, having a range of options of unique endings for each one is going to be a BANGER. Some will care about getting into a relationship with the MC, others will just want to have fun.
I played all the characters's routes. Let's just say, my definition of 'boyfriend material' is different from yours. I hated those 4 routes for that very detail, especially Lise's.
It's progressive. they don't consider him "boyfriend material" right now, but the more you get into their routes, the more "romantic" it is.
