Decent bar the Engrish, some of it is a proper pain in the hole to read through though. Maybe it's not that bad but it could use a bit of work before you go too deep with this.

If the dev release good content, these rumors will fade. But there is a major problem: until then, people will be reluctant to join as a patreon and it may impact the early development of the game.
I'm sad both because there are scammers ripping us off and because some people might be the target for false accusations. I really hope this dev won't get demotivated because of this shitstorm.

Ultimately, it's better to be on the side of caution, than to feed more money to a possible scammer. Sorry dev, if you actually aren't who they claim you to be.

Holy shit people, stop harping on this guy. You're comparing something that looks like it has actual work and effort put into it to something that looks like total ass just because it's star wars.
To the dev, same advice as some of the other folks, ignore the scorned people, just do your thing. I for one look forward to watching this progress. I personally won't be pledging until there's a bit of content, but I don't blame the folks who have, this has serious potential.

Dude is actively posting in progress assets that look way better than that other game people are salty about. Show me where he's lifting that from or how this is remotely similar to the incredibly low-effort DAZ crap (that I could make after browsing this site for a few hours) and I might start to believe you. But until then, I haven't seen anything better than a flimsy thing about some guy's alt account advertising this too, which is nothing concrete at all.

So the average attention span just kinda died hardcore, huh? The post says plainly at the end that it doesn't discredit the developer and that it's simply noting that folks promoting it might have ties to this other guy. Doesn't really hold any water against the dev. Hell, even before I read Witar's comment, that seems like a more likely possibility than this being made by some other guy.
I've looked into development platforms like Unity before, I've tried something similar to what this demo contains, it's not black and white. I believe they have a tutorial for it but it still requires a bit more knowledge than downloading some assets into a free program, manipulating some bones and clicking render.
Visual scripting is not a plus, but rather just a tool for those who do not want to bother too much and do something. As for C#, it is not too complicated. If you want to, you'll figure it out.
