How do I progress past the energy level puzzle? The one after getting off the elevator. I finish the puzzle but the enemy detection sound always triggers and I get a game over.
Before activating a puzzle, it is always worth checking to see if there is an enemy nearby. If there is one, it is better to move to a safe place and let him pass by. After this you will have more time.

Well that was a good reminder to why I don't like stealth games. I don't have enough patience to keep waiting for enemies to turn around or move away. Anyway, good luck with the project, dev! And with the copyright stuff too probably if this doesn't get abandoned.

You know Lucasfilm has fallen when even a porn parody is better then their recent releases. If they had just used sexy lesbians instead of ugly ones and had them scissor or some shit, they'd have better ratings.

I would say no one would be against lesbians if they weren't shown instead of the plot.

Anybody new to this guy, BE WARNED: the developer's previous work is the abandoned, never-playable Star Wars: Path of Lust, which he dragged out for years, accepting Patreon money, and never, ever, ever released an actual game. Feel free to hop on over to that thread for literally years' worth of people going "uhh where's the game?" and this guy promising that it's coming any day now.

I love how he just ignores the comments saying that this is a scam and bring proves about that... This smells to bad... It's a shame, because his games are promising, but he just want to milk our mony without finishing his projects it seems. He says that he will continue SW: Path of Lust, but it has te abandoned tag on it... Man, probalby this is your last chance to actually bring somthing to the table and correspond to your fans.

Damn another day another thing i learned about all the drama on this forum.

Ignoring that, im just going to give some feedbacks cause i know nothing of these dramas

basically the game is not too good right now, not in the sense that "it's barebones" or "only 1 sex content?!?!??! game bad" but on the basis of a 3rd person stealth game. there's a lot of issues plaguing the base mechanics

first, camera. in a game with instant-game overs and NO CHECKPOINTS its important to give the player as many tools to prevent getting caught as possible and the camera does not even accomodate that, sure you can enter cover and peek but it only allows you to do that near walls(which might be closer to the enemy and giving less time to react to the info gained) and not even every wall can be leaned on (the lower section is such a fucking hassle) it is literally as shrimple as swapping shoulder sides, or even make a better angle to accomodate the left side. it is so much better to do DBD checkspot tech than hugging walls then entering cover(you can't even shoot or do things on cover what the fuck is the point of that?)

second, detection. idk if it scales with distance, but when you are of a certain distance to the enemy you just INSTANTLY get detected. even though sure, if you bump into an enemy you have no chance of escaping(because how open the fucking hallways and patrol spots are) but clutch hiding should be a thing in a detection-based stealth. the detection bar also decays sooo slowly really making the already slow stealth gameplay slower

Everything else is fine i guess, the animation is not bad the layout/enemy placement is a bit eh, scanner is great but needs more range for enemy detection if no camera changes are done

Wow, I don't think I've had to see like an actual big admin get involved with a thread to warn people before, but looks like that happened on another game of his. Damn, coulda been interesting but this is pretty clearly just never gonna happen.

Once again: this is a raw alpha version, in which a lot still needs to be improved and possibly completely changed. It's all a work in progress.

you can't even shoot or do things on cover what the fuck is the point of that?
The point of cover is to see what is happening around the corner without risking being discovered. Perhaps in the future there will be some possibilities of influencing opponents from cover, I haven’t thought about it yet.

second, detection. idk if it scales with distance, but when you are of a certain distance to the enemy you just INSTANTLY get detected.
Of course it depends. If you appear right in front of the enemy, he will, of course, immediately attack, and if you loom somewhere in the distance, he may well think that it was his imagination.
Also, the detection range and instant reaction radius depend on the difficulty level.

the detection bar also decays sooo slowly
All these things will be gradually adjusted during testing to comfortable levels.

* * *

Btw, I would generally be glad to see more people like this here (instead of all sorts of whiners) who are ready to actually test the game and write constructive reviews and suggestions for its improvement (y)
