I think there should be a "furry head" check box. Basically with that off it will give you animals ears, tail, and all the details, but no animal HEADS.

Seems the .21 version is out for the 10$ patreons. I'm very tempted to become a patreon just to try out the new stuff, since female PC's are FINALLY available in the game now. Even though my patience stat is close to zero irl, I stop myself from clicking on the 10$ link when I think about all the new bugs this will introduce, better to wait a few weeks and let the dev deal with the worst game breaking bugs first.
Other than that, according to the design goal the dev posted on his patreon, there seems to be quite a bit of interesting changes/content this time. Although I'm not a big fan of heavy furry or TF fetishes myself, being able to play as a female pc is something I've been looking forwards to for quite some time now and with the new stats system for npc's, my goal of a harem of only lesbians slaves in not a dream anymore when you can play as a female pc with npc's which have actual sexual preferences towards a certain gender. Also new animations are a welcome addition if they work correctly. The sex animations in the game really needs some loving attention imo!
Design:
The Gender Spectrum
First off, the goal of this patch is to create as much variety as possible. Broadly speaking, there will be a few core "variables" that will determine the display of a character:
Body Type: This will be able to exist at any point from Female->Androgynous->Male.
Penis/Clitoris: This will also be a spectrum from Missing->Clitoris->Pseudo-penis->Penis. There will be multiple penis options, as there are currently vagina options, ranging from micropenis to unrealistically monstrous.
Vagina: This will be pretty much on or off. Characters will still be able to have one of a small variety of vagina types, which will be able to coexist with a penis/enlarged clitoris or not.
Testicles: Yes or no for both genders. These might end up being mutually exclusive with vaginas because of... mechanical limitations.
Ovaries: Ovaries will be invisible normally, and will simply dictate whether a slave can become pregnant.
Pronoun: By default, the pronouns used for a character will correspond to their body's gender (or whatever gender they're transitioning to). You will be able to change this from the inspection screen or the rules assistant though.
Broadly, this allows male, female, trans-male, trans-female, null girl, null boy, and a couple variants of futa slaves.
Transformation
The hormone panel will include male and female hormones, so you can alter slaves' genders over time. There will also be surgical options to change genitals independently of hormones.
The player will start as male, female, futa, or "other" based on your answers to the fetish interview, but can also be customized with the same systems you use for slaves.
New Animations
I plan to add two more animations to the general sex engine for this patch: Cowgirl and Amazon. That should help to cover the case of a PC with a vagina. I'll also be updating the existing animations to add explicit anal versions.

Slaves and citizens will get stats for attraction to men, attraction to women, and attraction to "in-between."
New Furniture
The dairy will get two new semen milking machines for slaves with testicles.
Events
Many events will be reworked to allow for male, female, or in-between slaves depending on your fetish interview answers.
Fei will also become a Futa if your answers to the fetish interview allow it. I feel like it suits her character.

The version that's out for patrons is rather buggy at the moment, even more so than usual. Lot of visual issues. Once a more stable version is done by the dev, it should be made available to the public for everyone. I'll admit I'm tempted to leak a link here so the dev has more folks providing bug reports and feedback, but I don't want to trivialize the reward of access for other patrons. Instead, I will simply leave a hint for where you can pick up 21A for now below. Peruse at your own risk. Hopefully I haven't forgotten how to add spoilers like a dumb...

@StationmasterDev I was wondering if I can create my own tags for events and planets. Such as adding my own tag to a planet. I see some planet quirks have tags. Can I then/also create an event or add a tag to an existing slave event. So that only slaves with that tag will be selected when that event occurs? Or is there a set list of tags and the system will ignore anything not listed. Is this [tag|rich] listed or can I invent my own tags?

Yeah, it's quite buggy. Weird animations like that penis asteroid, slaves with eyes that looks like deep sea fishes that have been brought up to the surface and the old bug where the game just freezes when you try to buy slaves is back again... I though that bug was fixed already.
I'm not complaining though, since it's an alpha release after all and bugs are to be expected. I have no idea how to start the game as a female pc, I can change the gender & genitals of the pc (whom starts as a male) but I haven't figured out how to get her pregnant nor seen any sex scenes where a female pc gets penetrated. Not sure if that's a bug or if it's simply not implemented yet. Also the sex scenes/animations still shows the pc with a dick, even if I replaced it with a vagina and the pc lacks breast nipples for some reason.
You can't start as a female but you can change your character into a female. First buy the hormone machine then select the Female hormone on your PC. Only way I've found to get her pregnant is by using an implant (the one that makes her pregnant with a clone of herself). Bare in mind that it doesn't say anywhere that she is pregnant. At some point you get the Child Birth message. Currently there is a bug with the vats so you can't Wake up your child. It stays in the vat.Yeah, it's quite buggy. The PC can't get penetrated yet. There is no animation where the PC is the one being fucked for now.
The lack of nipples is an occasional bug. Try removing the boobs and placing them again.
Personally, I'd like to see more custom or unique characters to be available for capture. Getting Tyrant or Speaker as a reward after a lengthy grind marks the high point of the game for me, but I wish there were more opportunities like that.
*addition* whenever someone with a tail uses the spa pool their tail also grows and looms over the station.

I'm working hard on the bug fixes from 0.21a (thanks everyone who reported things. You're helping out a ton). That should be released this weekend.
Unfortunately, there's been a bit of a snag: I'm not personally interested in the gender overhaul content (or the furry content for that matter), and the balance of "fun work" to "not-fun work" has become a problem. I'm happy to have it in the game, but working on it is sapping my motivation, and I need a break from it.
What this means for the next few patches:
I'm going to stabilize the gender overhaul content that exists, but postpone some of the new features for a future patch in order to retain my sanity. That means that this weekend's patch will be 0.21 instead of 0.21b, and will be followed by 0.22a. I wouldn't generally switch gears like this, but it's gotten to the point where I don't enjoy working on the game anymore, and that's one sacrifice I'm not willing to make.
0.21 will have:
- Bug fixes
- Fixed furry content for male slaves (except for heads and hooves)
- Rules Assistant integration for the new gender overhaul variables
On the plus side, this means that the much anticipated Community Improvements Patch will be starting next week. I'm really excited about some of the new stuff that I have planned for that one, and will release a more complete description in the next week or so.
Sounds good. Can't complain about shifting gears if some patchwork is involved, that's getting to be sorely needed at this point. Hopefully you're not as close to burnout mode as it sounds. This is one of the good ones in my book and it's only getting better.
