Milf is a blanket term for any woman within a certain age range, they don't even seem to need to be mothers at all if porn categories are any indication though the term does usually mean they have had children. In the case of incest stories, sure, the mother is a milf, but milfs don't have to be related to the guys (or gals) that are interested in them sexually. So no, I don't find it misleading at all since the MCs mom isn't the only older woman in the story.
