In this game, the MC is a 19 year old loser who only has 1 friend in his life. Do you think it makes more sense that he's supposed to be tall, handsome, muscular?

Not to mention that he has the social graces of a drunk illiterate clown. He's good for nothing but be a meat shield, the black man that I forgot the name of, is more interesting than this MC we are stuck with.

your initial statement is a generalization and so was mine, regardless of that, the game is unlikely to get an update so it doesn't even matter.

My comment is specifically about this game because it's a response to someone mentioning the many complaints in this thread about MC's appearance. The ones complaining are the ones self-inserting as I said. It might sound like a generalization to you because it's applicable to pretty much every porn game in this forum. The ones with suspension of disbelief as you said would have no reason to complain in this thread.
I agree that the game is unlikely to get an update though.

I think it must be some kind of cultural misunderstanding.
Perhaps what we find strange about this game is okay / norm / perfectly fine (*) where the creator(s) live.
What seems illogical and unacceptable to us may be the norm in another culture. Without the so-called "cultural context", all this can be written in a language unknown to us.
Another version is that someone was lazy and/or doesn't know how to write a good game script (and dialogues). Did I write "good"? that's a mistake - it should be "acceptable", I don't expect more.

good point. though i don't get how come he is such an arrogant prick as if he was born with a silver spoon up his ass? it springs my mind that probably the dev is an alien from different galaxy and creats his characters based on... i can't even guess where he got them from
If you read the first post then you would know that the dev said this was his first project and that he was learning as he was making it and he knew he had many shortcomings. But then again everyone here was born champs of the pirate porn game forum.

Sadly, it's hard to give this benefit of the doubt to dev because IMO the problem goes beyond the written words/sentences. We don't need words to understand the action of the characters. MC still didn't bother coming to work on his first day despite being broke. Best friend still didn't try to find a job. They still somehow managed to rent a fully furnished apartment complete with the mess despite being broke. Cafe owner still fired MC due to him not showing up on his first day, but forced the niece to hire MC as her assistant. The celebrity with 73M followers (this is huge and way more followers than a lot of Hollywood celebrities, world class athletes, and IRL actual supermodels) is still unable to hire someone professional/competent to be her assistant.
None of the issues above is about wording/sentences.
I don't mind fictional setting such as the school allowing the students to run the school including expelling fellow students because I can accept that's the premise of the game. But when the game created a situation where the MC is broke and needs a job to make money, then got a job but easily quit the job before even the first day, that's illogical within the premise that the dev created themselves. What's worse is that there's the random flashback of the father telling MC to do what makes him happy, as if hinting MC should quit the cafe job because that isn't what makes him happy, only for MC to then become the personal assistant of someone he doesn't like who doesn't like him either, clearly a job that he hates even more than the cafe job.
There's almost nothing that makes sense in this game. That's why the game needs a massive rewrite, because the issue goes way beyond the wording.

Totally agree, I would have written the same thing in different words.

[1] he had a rough night. And the morning.
[2] there are places on earth where an unmarried woman without a family has almost zero chance of finding a job. Outside the sex industry ofc.
[3] squatters? a very popular method in some places, mostly large cities. I wouldn't worry about the word "rented".
[4] this is a "macho" thing, we don't have to understand it.
[5] dev has a problem with numbers, especially zeros. Because what is "zero"? it's nothing, absolutely nothing! Change "73M" to 73000 and everything will be OK.
I don't want to argue!

Even playing devil's advocate would be hard to justify your other version of reality.
good game so far. The broken english is kinda annoying, and there's no sex scenes yet... but that didnt seem to make me any less interested in the MC's funny-arse personality

Or you skipped all the dialogues (everyone does that after a minute of reading this thing) - you missed the only important choice.
