I feel like I must've messed up somewhere because after downloading the update I'm stuck in a loop of fishing, watching the sunset and sleeping with Moala

Technically the [futa/trans] tag should not be here since it is planned and not implemented.
I was initially accepting of it it because the author provided a well reasoned explanation for it.
But then I thought about it some more and realized its meta problems.
Justifications are done in the form of the storytelling choices that the author is making. and could very very easily be adjusted.
For example. instead of a shapeshifting spell MC uses an illusion/SEP field spell/item.
And... how do amazons even exist without men entirely? they should just have men be second class citizens instead of nonexistent. Which will in turn provide a far more interesting dynamic for the MC than the plan of shapeshift into a woman or a futa.
MC being treated as a maid / social role reversal sounds vastly more interesting. As he sneaks about gathering info in between cleaning and cooking.
from a meta perspective, this is not a trans game. The MC is male for many chapters before there ever comes a chance to do this bout of temporary transformation. and then goes right back to being male.
who exactly are the target audience here? since all the content is straight male harem, then those are going to be the people who play it.
do you expect some trans people to suddenly pickup your game and play through many long chapters as a straight male harem before being rewarded with a small temporary stint as trans?
do you expect the heterosexual males who like harems to enjoy suddenly turning into either a full woman or dickgirl for a single chapter? and then to go back one chapter later?
do you expect lesbians to to play through the entire heterosexual male harem story just so they can reach the one chapter, pick the dickless pure woman option, and have that 1 short chapter of lesbian sex... then go back to being a man after?
Sure you say that you could choose to fuck nobody while transformed... but that doesn't really solve anything. it is just a "don't like don't play". what a waste of an entire chapter and all the content you make for it.
That entire chapter's content plan is very jarringly out of place. And has no target audience.

Someone should make a game called Summer Island Harem which is about the MC recruiting someone named Summer to their harem of islands.I see we have run out of names for porn,

You would think the MC would be more interested in learning magic than just make water for a couple of minutes everyday and just go to bed after eating. I would try adding in something to make it feel like the MC is spending a significant amount of time between the 2 casting to indicate training in the little 3? day loop. And/or have a some unique lines of him exploring the city each day after training. What you did with the hut making, fishing and hunting in the previous village was very nice.
Also the hilarity of the magic woman just handing you a book (she don't even know if you are able to read) and expecting you learn some communication magic when you are on the road. And she have never even seen you do any magic.
Despite my apparent negativity I am genuinely happy to see an update to this game, and would like to see it improve grammatically and logicaly
The same problem is also there with the man on the dragon island, if you manage complete the immensely difficult memory challenge to make fire the man goes from fairly dismissive to recognizing you as someone to respect and/or fear. So the Dev tries to reflect this by having the savage man refer you to as "Master", something that is fine by itself but the execution is terrible since "Master" can have many meanings that needs some subtlety to convey correctly. Easy hack is too just say "The master/Wise master/Young master" instead of just "Master"

From what I understand this comes from the Devs lack of proficiency in the English language, they don't really intend there to be a implied relationship like that here. Especially since if you have enough bad boy points you have internal thoughts contrary to that.

Is it just me or would it be better if dev didn't add animations outside of sex scenes? It delays development time and doesn't add much.
I would agree with you in most games, but i actually enjoyed these. Prefer if the dev would work on story and branching first and would either outsource or use side pc for the animations and ad them later on, but im not complaining since they were good ones. I would take them anyday before few extra sex scenes since i dont see this a game for fapping.

So? we still can wait to see how much time the dev will waste on that part of the story. So you can estimate if it is even worth picking it up if you are not interested in those shenanigans.
As you said earlier, I generally don't appreciate Harem Games that change the Genre midway.
But other than you, I wouldn't find the power exchange in a male alternate route you proposed exiting. In fact, that would be even worse than the Transformation.

Most likely its just a temporarily spell to even start to deal with the amazons, just get few pregnant and dominate them afterwards, not a big deal or waste of time. Nobody wants to play the same story over and over again.
But if im wrong and game is branching to girl or futa path fully, i totally agree with you. Theres already so many games that change the tone forcefully on a way or branch too much. And thats just shit.

As far as I am aware it is temporary.
But I do not care for that kind of content. I don't want to see it. I don't want to play it. It is the same as every other forced fetish. I'm not into self-genderbender. It is a turnoff and if that is not bad enough, it will be forced. I can go back to play sissy academy or some other shitty MTF game.
It may be temporary but I get the choice between two shitty choices and I want neither of them.
