Actually you don't need a walkthrough at the moment,
since it is currently --> too linear. :p
A german translation is not necessary for the game, I think that if the game is finished at some point, maybe you could do it.

just my opinion. ^^

I tend to agree with Elleo here. While the new update adds some new dialogue to the earlier part of the game. I'm still not completely satisfied with the writing. Thus, I foresee having to go back and correct grammatical errors and I do have plans to do a few more adjustments during the early part of the game. I feel like this would be a pain in the ass for someone translating to keep track of. I would be open once it's done to people translating it though

@Aaryn Thanks for the insight. You are right, there is a lot of grind-based adult games, but I prefer your version of simple grind rather than spending all day on a point-based system in order to get a second event with a character for those games that have 17 characters to choose from. An extreme example, but not a far-fetched one. Your take on grind wasn't bad because it progressed the story-line, inch by inch. For example, when you attended class for a while you finally find the janitor like in real life. It didn't take 20 points with some sister character just to get her to point the MC in the right direction. Also, I loved the inclusion of randomized dialogue. When Braden (I keep calling him Brandon, but now I know that's wrong, LoL!) started talking about watching the show with his grandma who died, I was all like, "Aww, lets cuddle while you tell me more about your dead grandma!" Horribly of me, yes, but I meant it in the nicest way. The progression is fine without the grind. Honestly, I was on the game for longer without the grind just to see most of what the characters would say in different events.

As for the "corruption", I don't think the MC is doing much "corrupting" as is, LoL! He's making Braden feel more and more comfortable around him. That is the best version of "corruption" to me. Just being a genuine and honest guy. As the MC in the story, you made it so that sort of honesty and likability pays off and that being a creeper makes the MC feel guilty. For example, when Braden complains about it being too cold, the MC starts his quest to get the heat fixed. Which leads to finding the janitor. The reward is the Braden is thankful for your quickness of trying to make the new and strange place more comfortable to him and now he feels comfortable enough to take off his clothes. This evovles to working with the janitor, and then discovering more about Braden as you learn about his wanting to join the wrestling team. Progression ---> Grind. Any and Every day of the week.

I can't wait to see more. Wish I had extra cash to throw at you, but life is very unfair. Your game has much more heart and soul than most. I can feel it through the way the characters speak to one another, slowly opening themselves to someone they've only just met on their first day of college. (Something I had to go through myself.)

On a sidenote, something I just thought of while typing this, there is a way to give a bit of "naughty", keep a bit of grind, and keep the heart of the game without making the characters feel cheap. You could do "wet dream" progression. As in, when the MC falls asleep at night, if he doesn't try anything with Braden, he could have a wet dream about the twink or the janitor or past/future characters. How far it goes in the dream is determined by how comfortable that character is with you in real time. Example, if Braden is willing to kiss you or let you touch him, that means your getting pretty close to those things in the gameplay. The way to progression the scene to complete nakedness would be to make Braden comfortable enough in real life to be completely naked in front of you. This would allow for replay of sex scenes while all being in the MC's head. Just something that struck me, and thought I'd share before I forgot about it.

Take your time, play to your strengths, and keep up the amazing work! I look forward to the next update with much interest.

Wow, dude..."thank you" doesn't say enough in response to your comments. I appreciate the time you took and your thoughtful reactions to, well, pretty much fucking everything.

First off, no judgement on "dead grandma." LOL. I'm actually going to use this and it'll come back around--hopefully in the next update. Basically, side stories or backstories like this may be triggered by events in the game and then will essentially become dinner conversation. For example, once Braden talks about "dead grandma" this may unlock a "grandma" conversation during dinner. That's why the dinner conversation stuff is so sparse right now. I tried it one other time and didn't like how it turned out so I scrapped it--but I really wanna bring this back around and I finally figured out a way I could do it throughout the game. But you may have opportunities similar to what you're talking about."

I agree with you on the "corruption" feel. I suppose I use the term "corruption" to unfairly talk about the slow progression that we see in other corruption games. It's more comparative then it is fitting. In this instance, you're right...it's almost like an anti-corruption. However, there are still events that may appeal to those who like the "corruption" type gameplay. I'm glad you like the progression of the game. While you seem to have gotten my original intent for the "grind" it wasn't intended to be as repetitious as it was. I agree with the negative feedback I got on it as I find myself repeatedly skipping through repeatable dialogue in other games on here as I grind up points. I like the new random feel a lot better but it is still somewhat repetitious.

I'm also glad you appreciate the "heart" of the game. I want somewhat of a romantic feel to it without being gay AF and I've honestly found that I enjoy writing the story as a slow progression, trying to make it as real as possible. I originally, stated that the dialogue would be the heart of the game. I wanted that Tarantino-style dialogue that somewhat moves the story forward and gives character development without actually having to have an event happen. You get to know the characters through their conversation rather than things being event-based. But, based on what we know right now, a romantic relationship between these two characters is incompatible and impossible. But somehow there is a weird tension between them that we just haven't put our finger on. However, if that does occur, there should be a believable context and progression to that.

Finally, your "wet dream" (Well, not yours...: p ) idea. It's funny you brought this up. Another user on this board suggested something similar awhile back. Originally, i tried to play the idea out but I hated the way it turned out. Esentially it felt forced. I wanted Zack to have the wet dream about Braden

. In my original idea, Zack had his own perceptions of what Braden would look like...and they would ultimately be incorrect (i.e body size, dick size, etc.). Similiar to how we would imagine a crush we've never actually seen in a sexual situation. Initially, this felt realistic; however, the writing didn't work out and I didn't really like the way I wrote it. Ultimately, to add a little eye candy, I had Zack

. To me, this felt more natural and impulsive, which was more befitting to Zack's character and his age. Plus, I figured some may like the "public display" more than a private display. In short, that's kinda why it happened the way it did. Mostly because I didn't like the writing of it at the time and couldn't really put it into the story without it feeling like forced nudity in the game. It was just bad execution on my part that it wasn't included...It's still something I have in the back of my mind as a possibility, though :)

It's an amazing game!
I identify a lot with the characters. Zack is a lot like me (mainly divergence is course choice haha) and Braden is a perfect eye candy. About the grind, on grind times I was ok with it, when it was gone I didn't miss it.
The writing is so so so good, as everyone said lol the visual part is really good too.
Keep up with the amazing work!!

v0.51 Public Release coming today or tomorrow, right?

Hey Leotwo,
Thanks for checking in. Hopefully the game will only get better as I learn wtf I'm doing. I appreciate the compliment on the writing specifically. While it's not perfect, I'm trying to spend some time on realistic, slice of life dialogue for both characters. The visuals are a work in progress. I feel like I've made some positive improvements but still a long ways to go--specifically on lighting. I just dropped the new version on the page. Enjoy :)

Looks cool, might just recommend this to my bro, does this have bad boy/ sub dude dynamics?
Heya. No, It's pretty tame. Some have described it as more "romantic" then "porn" because of the dialogue and interactions between the characters. While this wasn't my original vision, I can't really argue with it because it is kinda going in that direction. It's pretty tame and probably won't have serious domination stuff because that's not really my thing. However, as things heat up, characters may take the "lead" in interactions if that makes sense. I'll talk more about this in the future

Cool, always nice to see some diversity in this industry, good luck!

Just to say that i'm impressed at the quality of the game vibe. It managed to stay in the fine line between romantic content and erotic content, which i must say, is a remarkable accomplishment. I do hope you can continue to surprise with the quality of the updates :)

Hey Risada
Thanks for checking in and taking the time to leave a comment. I really appreciate it. I'm glad you appreciate that line I'm walking. Things will heat up before long but I feel like that line is important because it's a necessary step in most relationships. Since these games are fantasy...seems like it needs to be there. Much more to come :)

I agree with you, but sometimes developers, writters (and why not say fans) tend to forget the importance of romance.

Agreed. I guess it really depends on the vision of the game or even the purpose of the player playing it. Like, I never envisioned a player booting up a game with cock in hand. I like the slow building arousal. Meeting the character and then slowly finding yourself drawn in at the same time as the MC. It's funny...I never envisioned this game as a romance but it really is sorta writing itself in that direction...maybe I should bite the bullet and add the tag of "romance" since others are feeling the same way.

Good luck with your game. It's nice to see some fully gay content. It's not my thing so I can't offer a critique since I haven't played the game but lack of gay content has been a glaring gap in the content for visual novels.

This is one of those comments that I appreciate more than I probably should. Seriously, thanks for taking the time to check in even though the content isn't your thing. If you're not into dudes, I probably would have tried to talk you out of playing it in the first place. At this point, it seems more "bromance" than anything but there's still bare butts and pee pees. But you're right, there is a lack of gay content. Hoping others will jump on the bandwagon. It's a lot of work to do one of these but it's actually kinda fun.
