I think those errors only happens when you start a new game, so people who continue from an old save will not experience them.

Ha, like I said no idea , I'm probably only 30 minutes or so in this game (gong back and forth from the nowhere motel/working at the diner, but with fun cheats), think I've advanced to talking with the banker manger/lady, and that's about it and it's been more than a months since I've last played.
