Your saves anywhere in the open sandbox should work fine. If a save is in the middle of an event or conversation, it's iffy whether it's usable in a subsequent update.

The game still pops up an error/exception even if i load in an open sandbox state save. Is there a way to make save pre V0.61.2 to work ?

Got the ol' gray screen when waking up to Jil and Mia in bed with me.
NOTES:
This was the first night that Jil was my roommate. I went to bed while she was at work and woke up to the error. I rolled back and slept in the other room. The following night, I was able to sleep with Jil without errors. The next time she worked and brought Mia home, there weren't any errors. I guessed that the SleepingTogetherCount didn't get set because she wasn't there when I went to sleep that first night. So basically, you have to sleep in the same bed with Jill before she brings Mia home.
