Besides the one guy giving off clear "questionable mental capacity" vibes continually spamming up this thread raging about trust issues, can anybody else claiming that point to me where it was the dev promised this would be a "NTR Free" game? Heck, I'll even accept a post of him directly using or making a reference to the term NTR, as that at least confirms pre-existing knowledge in these scenarios and discounts the otherwise usual suspect case of a dev not even realizing extremist posters here on f95 freaking out about non-MC sex was even a thing. Much a less a consideration factor that would be going into his story build.

Otherwise and without that this essentially seems like a nothing burger and more so a self-created issue within a subsection of people here then something dev created. As it literally took me 1 minute into my playthrough to run in Rachel making reference to Steve as her boyfriend, followed by a scene much latter on of her moaning his name while my MC was unknowingly trying to peep/molest her. All of which mind you is happening in a game that is about as barebones on actual story "immersive relationship" presentation as it gets, and with a gaming focus that is much more aimed as it's task management aspects.

In fact the much more offensive thing in this game to me is the eat system. It's like the dev purposely thought to himself "damn, I'm not gonna have that get up/dressed option everybody universally hates on the RPGM platform. How can I best replicate that in my Renpy game?". Factoring in on top of the grind that makes this a 2 star game alone for me, even with cheats. And has me sitting here a couple hours in, and after finally reaching a little past the Rachel BJ, debating if it's even worth it or if I even care enough to make it to that controversial Steve sex scene.

I love the irony in complaining about other people's posts, and then in the same breath telling people if they don't like something to just skip over it. The almost stalker-level obsession you have with that other poster is fascinating too. How much time have you spent digging up info on them from the forum or posting about them these last few days? Funny how some online posts get you upset, but then you can't understand why people get upset when someone suddenly appears and has sex with their love interest in a game. It's all zeroes and ones ultimately, but you're being selective in which zeroes and ones are bothering you or that apparently other people are allowed to be bothered by.

Please, keep being upset about that guy and about the people who are upset about something ultimately as unreal as what you're upset about, but unreal in a different way. Please keep slowing turning into your nemesis by making post after post that at their core aren't really much different than what you are complaining about in the first place. Or you could take you own advice and just skip over what you don't like, since that is supposedly so easy to do.

I ignored the argument because it was just a "I never explicitly promised I'd never do this" thing, as if that somehow denies people the ability to get upset when they do it. It's just a variation of the "you never said I couldn't do this" defense. The dev could have at least provided a warning like most other devs do that there is NTR or NTR-ish content, or make it optional. No one promised you people wouldn't complain about NTR in this thread, did they? So why are you so riled up? What explicit promise was made to you that was violated by people's actions? Again, you're just raging over a different form of digital data than the people you're complaining about. If it bothers you, skip over it. Their words aren't any more real than Rachel or Steve in the game, so clearly you shouldn't let it annoy you. I'm not bothered by the people posting about not liking the NTR issue. Therefore, why should it bother you? No, the much more logical truth there is that you ignored the question simply because it could/would go on to most rationally answer the one you yourself presented earlier in this thread. But that answer doesn't fit an overall narrative scheme you ideally want to be in support of here. So instead you are left doing your best there to try sidestep having to apply that more rational line of thought, and of course attempting to discredit any acknowledge of the typical irrational thought and behavior we can routinely find behind a lot of the support going in to any such alternative F96 driven narrative anytime this topic pops up.

I left it out of my original post to keep it brief. I actually addressed it at the end in an earlier draft and then just cut that section out before I posted it because my focus was trying to show how your annoyance at all of those posts here isn't all that different to the experience of the people annoyed by the game, and that part of the post took things somewhat off topic.

I don't ever recall saying it was a malicious act, although I wouldn't rule that out. There's no shortage of games that seem to have turned into trolls by the dev. If the dev was truly clueless that so many people didn't like NTR, then they didn't really do their homework. Somehow, they've been working in the adult game industry for at least three years now, and presumably played games on their own before then and probably even now, and never heard of NTR let alone knew it was divisive. Seems legit to me.

I'm not sure how people not knowing what NTR is is relevant. NTR is just a increasingly broad term to cover stuff like this in video games. If I didn't know what NTR was, that wouldn't change that I don't like it. If this didn't fall under a strict definition of NTR... well, why didn't someone tell me? I only hate things with the NTR label. I now love this game because that changes everything. Oh wait, no it doesn't. The game added some stuff that is either NTR or that NTR is the closest way to describe without a paragraph of explanation. So it's the term people are going to use, and if it isn't already the official definition of NTR will broaden to include more stuff unless a separate term is invented for whatever variation this is.

If the dev did it out of complete ignorance and good intentions, it doesn't fundamentally alter the experience of those who don't like the NTR and NTR-ish stuff. It doesn't undo the fact that a game that had such promise to so many suddenly turned to garbage in their viewpoint. I'm not saying they are right that it is garbage. I'd argue that it's a trash move to insert such a divisive kink so late in the game without warning or a way around it, but that's somewhat subjective. I'd say the same about any controversial kink, although from what I've seen NTR is the only such kink to suddenly appear out of the blue so many updates into a game. I do think people are right to their opinions about the game though and the last update and to express them here, as long as they stay within the rules of the forum. And you have a right to express yourself too, although complaining about other posts is slightly more off-topic than complaining about the game. But by all means, keep posting. The mods will sort it out if they think either of us are out of line. And I'm personally still really enjoying how you're getting worked up over some words, while words, images, and more in a game are supposed to be no big deal.

The dev could have told everyone that Steve might come back and he might have a sex scene with Rachel...but they didn't and we all know damn well why. They waited to get enough support first instead of being upfront about it in the beginning. Some devs actually do that they lay out potential scenarios that could happen instead of blindsiding people.
