As I said in a comment on that post, with this being my first game, I learn a lot of lessons as I release each update. And boy, do I hate learning.

This update, of which I'm currently entrenched in thousands of lines of dialogue/script files, is a massive one. I genuinely believe the length of time that it's taken me to put this one out will be the longest, due to not learning (or being able to apply) those aforementioned lessons. In other words, future updates shouldn't take so long.

I know delays suck. All I can say is that Days 14-16 will be out soon.

There are Paige codes hidden in the most recent update, three in total. More in this coming one. They unlock Paige Fantasy pics. It's just a fun little thing to do for completionists and those who like to make their future pic-finding album hunts harder (more pics to search through).

Hi, I recently started this game and I'm getting the below error on day 8.

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:
  File "game/laptoplabels.rpy", line 179, in <module>
  File "game/script.rpy", line 1273, in laptop_end
  File "game/script.rpy", line 1474, in photo_hide
TypeError: 'odict_keys' object is not subscriptable

Does the day 8 patch help with this?

i have no clue how renpy works but i gotit fixed by renaming the variable causing the error. Not sure if you rather want to wait for a hotfix but just i case here is how i did it:

1. Used Unren to unpack the rpa files
2. Used Unren to decompile the rpyc files
3. Deleted rpa files manual (typed .rpa in the search bar of the game folder and deleted every search result)
4. Deleted rpyc files (same as above, just nuked the old, compiled files)
5. Opened laptopd8.rpy with a text editor (Note++ for me)
6. Searched for umiko_photo_hunt and renamed it to umiko_photo_hunt_1 (should be 2 search results)
7. saved and done

I'm also not able to understand the patch instructions properly. What rpa files am I supposed to unpack?

This is due to me releasing the free version of the latest update after updating Ren'py/Python. This

should fix it. Just drag and drop the file into your 'game' folder and overwrite.

The $5 version of my game was pirated, I think it's still in the original post, because I haven't removed it. In that version, a new Endurance character is teased through laptop interactions over the course of a few days.

The free version is missing this. To be clear, this new character isn't going to be exclusive to paid versions or anything, the laptop interactions were just teasers.

Phew, just stumbled over this vn a few days ago, but man, i do like it very much. The storytelling is great, the humor, the renders, well everything except the animations. these are quite (sorry) boring.
But i have faith in the progress of it, that why i submitted a yearly elysium patronship today.

I use Daz for the animations, and Daz's system is such a mess. Daz in general is a mess.

I'll keep working and improving on it.

I'm trying to be a bit more careful with release dates because similar to my parents' feelings towards me, you'll just end up disappointed.

Dads are like boomerangs, I hope.

I'm an idiot, but based on my past week of work, I feel confident it'll be towards the end of December. Maybe just after Christmas.

Your spoiler quotes didn't work for me, but if you're asking about harems in the sense of "multiple group sex scenes" then yes, that's exactly the direction you can expect things to go.

In relation to Ariel and Haylee... a choice must be made in this coming update.

OK, many people have been posting here for quite some time for the escape room stuff, whether voicing frustration, asking questions, or offering suggestions and hints — especially WildmanDev who has given a lot of really good help. Here is a list of what you can do to get both all of the numbers to actually escape and all of the numbers for the laptop afterward. A few spots are randomized, so I noted those in the instructions below. I've been pretty thorough, but I'm also really tired. If you notice any mistakes, please let me know.
