Hey Skylar, remember all your past life? Well, it turns out it's all fake. Your desire to help other people and any other reason you may have had to become a doctor? They were programmed on you, you are a robot.

Oh btw, I can take control of you at any time and there's nothing you can do about it.
Which is what he ultimately ended up saying after he got done doing his whole Twilight rendition.

You make do with what common ground you find in these do-or-die situations. A common goal is the one thing that should trump animosity in all scenarios.

It's absolutely hilarious how many people complain about "flashbacks", which are an essential part of the entire plot. Just click on the dot in gallery, watch the sex scenes, because that's apparently the only thing You want, and move on.

There are flashbacks, but in this episode they are very important to the story.
Ye, I saw... at least there were finally some answers...

Flashbacks themselves aren't the issue, the problem is the execution of said flashbacks...

Listen, it's not a big revelation that this dev is EXCESSIVELY self-indulgent when it comes to scenes and dialogues, and in reality, I could also complain about a whole lot more than the flashbacks, because god knows there's a lot of shit to complain about, unfortunately... like constantly recapping shit like people are idiots... and hey, a game like this? I could actually use a recap, but not at the end of each episode and about the stuff I just played in that episode, but about all the shit that's happened so far that I don't remember all that much because updates take a while... now, those recaps would actually be useful... too bad there's nothing like that in this game.

But coming back to the flashbacks, again, the issue is the execution, they go on foreeeeever (like everything else does) and sadly, most of them are pretty much irrelevant to the actual situation and story in the ship... even the one in this episode went on for a bit too long, to be completely honest.

I like the story, I like the characters (except the flashback ones, I don't give a shit about any of that) and I like the humor, but this dev REAAAAALLY needs an editor... like even the jokes, at this point I'm like yeah I get it, now get to the fucking point please... and I'm sure it'd be even worse were I to play the whole thing from zero in one go... it just becomes exhausting at some point.

And that's without even getting into the fact that with a tighter script and a MUCH tighter pacing, we could already be waaay further ahead in terms of development... and ugh, it's just frustrating because I DO like this game a lot, but I just can't ignore the issues either... I'm not a brainless fanboi, sorry.

OK, many people have been posting here for quite some time for the escape room stuff, whether voicing frustration, asking questions, or offering suggestions and hints — especially WildmanDev who has given a lot of really good help. Here is a list of what you can do to get both all of the numbers to actually escape and all of the numbers for the laptop afterward. A few spots are randomized, so I noted those in the instructions below. I've been pretty thorough, but I'm also really tired. If you notice any mistakes, please let me know.

I know, right?

I mean, this game is, among other things, a "whodunit". Consequently, the astute player will want to carefully read through the flashbacks (where a lot of clues can be found), and pay close attention to the laptop sessions each morning (where a lot more clues can be found; I honestly don't get all the players who come on here to bitch and moan about the the laptop sessions... but, I digress), so that hopefully said astute player can put their mad Sherlock Holmes skillz to work and have some inkling of what's coming and not get totally whipsawed by the plot twists. OTOH, to the "fap-material warriors" who skip through everything but the sex scenes, and then come here and complain about what they perceive to be deficiencies in the game, I have a one-word suggestion for an alternative that will almost certainly better meet their particular needs...

To be honest, before day 20 I only read the laptop chat and not the girls' answers to the QotD. I think I'm going to read those on my second playthrough when I'm going for the other choices at the crossroad points.

It would be the worst one yet: we know it is MC, we know it is his corpo overlords, who just so happen to be his dearest people in the world. Talk about foreshadowing with flashbacks that tell it all like Bond villains.

your saves are still in /appdata/roaming/renpy. just install normally and the game will automatically locate your saves.
Sadly so long time sins last time I played it has killed all but some faint memories what the game was all about and my path in it. I did notice the old saves, actually I am a bit disappointed they were there still, it may have been better to start over after all, When I delete any game/program I do not want files left behind clogging up my registry. And as I said above, my memory is not as easy to restore as a save file. Time is killing this game, DEV finnish the dam story already stop adding more or I´ll be in a nursing home before you're done.

It is almost finished (for Season 1; see this post). It's kind of your own fault for failing to continue to play as each release comes, to be fair. If you'd played every update, you'd be a lot more caught up with where things are. You could also always take high-level notes for yourself if you have trouble remembering things from the game. Then you could scan your notes before playing a new update so you can remind yourself what's of happened and where things are now. Also, the dev provides summaries (with Paige) every night to help remind you of where things have left off (with memories in the MC's past, who on the ship might be the problem, etc.).
