It is almost finished (for Season 1; see this post). It's kind of your own fault for failing to continue to play as each release comes, to be fair. If you'd played every update, you'd be a lot more caught up with where things are. You could also always take high-level notes for yourself if you have trouble remembering things from the game. Then you could scan your notes before playing a new update so you can remind yourself what's of happened and where things are now. Also, the dev provides summaries (with Paige) every night to help remind you of where things have left off (with memories in the MC's past, who on the ship might be the problem, etc.).

I played all updates I saw here, is it possible I missed some, perhaps. It is well made I´ll give the dev that, but like nobody could afford a perfect car we all settle for good enough and affordable/available NOW so it is with novels/games to.

Not taking notes is your own decision. I'm not trying to tell you what to do; I was only making a suggestion, since you said you had trouble remembering what had happened. And, as I mentioned, Paige's summaries will help catch you up on things you may have forgotten. If you don't already, you might want to save at the beginning of Paige's summaries so you can reload there and replay a little bit to remind yourself. You can always Ctrl-skip through everything once you think you've got all the refreshers you want, taking you into the new release's day. IDK; I'm just seeing if there are ways to help you remember stuff.

The update you mention would have been for Day 19, Part 1; Part 2 of the day was released in mid-November 2024 (so yes, 11 months ago). As there is more and more content steadily, of course releases are going to be further apart from one another, as logic would dictate. I don't know if I ever read what Season 2 would be, so I'm not sure if it continues this story or is another one. It's possible it would be the same character(s) once on Elysium. I honestly have no idea. You will, ofc, need to take this up with Wildman Dev if you have an issue with there being a second season.

If you dislike how far apart updates are, maybe just stop playing, at least until one of them is officially complete. If you find out there will be a second season that continues this story (and isn't just related somehow), you might just keep this on your radar until that season is also complete. Personally, I don't care what you do either way, and I'm not trying to dictate what you should do (to be clear).

Anyway, the point of my initial response was just that this season is almost done. You'll either want to search this thread (if information is here, which it likely is) or else ask the dev directly what Season 2 would have. And I disagree that the dev should "finnish the dam story already (sic)". I think the dev should make the story however long he's envisioned it. At least this isn't like waiting for another novel from Robert Jordan or George R. R. Martin.

ima throw my 2 cents in to this heated debate of whos the culp.

my theory though, is, i think its beth, if you in fact chose her and claire to wake up. as an ultimate way to get back at him for all hes done. i think she has some sort of connection to the other company on the new planet so when mc gave her the info about paige, i think she told her people on the new planet about her, and then the whole set up with the company on new planet happend. and the call mc got from her about the business meeting being comp'd was just a false flag they told her to tell him to keep him from even thinking about suspecting her. she would have then, in my scenario, must have been the one to change who was on what ship. calling from mc's memory in the hospital room, Beth wasnt there. she must have had someone on the inside of the cryo center to somehow set her cryo pod to set to unthaw her early so she can go grab mc from the male ship, fly him back, park her ship in the vehicle bay, then cause all that shit. then, the cryo center probably showed her how to put herself back into cryo, knowing that mc, would, with a high percentage of a chance, to have amnesia. betting on the fact that A) he would only get back memories that made him look like he was a bad guy to her, which tbh, he was. this would of caused fleshy non remembering self severe guilt, so B) when he learns that eventually she's on the elys with him, he would have an overwhelming guilt to thaw her to try and make good with her.

or, jsut a thought i had, its his mother. maybe she had second thoughts, and agreed to go with him to the new planet when he went on that vacation, for what reasons, i cant hazard a decent theory yet from the little we have of her finally, but something about her egotistical ambitions. i dunno. nor do i know why i put everythign above in spoilers. JIC i guess. feel free to poke holes in the beth theory. obvi this hinges on if you woke her instead. maybe wildman has it so that no matter of the 2 pairs you wake up, the one who works for the company is the culprit. or wildman is gonna throw us all for a loop and its gonna be one of the young girls. the blond sister stands out to me. how can you be so hardlined that you want a one on on relationship in that situation, when, everyone around you is on board with sharing.

I mean, the fact she was a sheltered virgin, only just turned 18 and never had a relationship in her life.......

Also impossible to be behind everything. Don't know how many teens have a high enough corporate position to be aware of other companies secret projects.

As for your Beth theory, easily debunked. Whoever is behind it all needed to be awake to do everything. Beth is just being woken up if she was picked. Can't sabotage a ship and transfer the MC from another ship while she's on ice.

Also if she isn't picked then she isn't even on the ship. Same applies to Lauren.

But it's not possible. She's one of the characters we can choose to wake or leave in cryo. It can't be someone we can make a choice on.

Am I correct in assuming that the choice is between Beth and Lauren and that Lexi is always in the 2nd cryopod in day 20? Also about how far back do we get that choice with Beth?

Beth and Claire are 1 group and Lauren with Lexi is the second.

Hmm I've played the last chapter, but I don't recall having a choice between them at all I only recall MC discussing about Lauren and Lexi being on the ship in day 20, while asking Skylar to look into 2 other girls from his work if they're on the ship Ah well. I'll see the other choices in about 1.5 year or so when the game is done and I'm going to play the other paths.

If you go to the main menu there is an option called Major Choices, you can see what all the options are there and pick what you want and just load from Day 19.

If by almost done you mean I can look forward to playing it next summer if it keeps this release pace, yes? 5 years from start to finnish for part one of who knows how manny is getting ridiculous for a novel/porn game. I wish F-95 would introduce a personal list for games we players follow similar to what youtube do with subscriptions so we do not miss the infrequent updates some have. Letts face it, the 50+ games in my library of F-95 games is hard enough to keep track of even if I check the website twice a week, i´m bound to miss some now and then, especially if they are mixed in with a bunch of new titles.
Ps. Do you think it is possible to include some type of automatic recap option in the game engines?

Afaik, he is a solo dev, the updates are huge, the plot is very complex and solid, so no wonder that it takes a "long" time. Last update alone took me 7h+ to finish a play through, and that is more playtime than a lot of games here have in total. Its a huge game. When I think about it more, it's about the amount of time it takes to binge watch a season of a TV/Netflix series. And all of it to be done by one person? That's alot. So kudos to dev here really, love what you are doing with the content and characters.

Quality takes time.

Lovely game, will be a bit sad to see it finished after the day 21 releases, but also happy to see another AVN project finished, and that is a rare one too.
