Agree with this. If she's programmed not to notice she doesn't poop, telling her that she doesn't to try to convince her isn't going to be effective because she'll "remember" doing it plenty and just think MC is even more delusional. And to "prove" she doesn't would take quite a while, which was a luxury he didn't have.
On a side note, the fact she doesn't poop will be great for anal sex. A lot less prep or potential cleanup needed.

Dude just had a CRUSHING revelation break him and you're calling him a bitch for feeling emotional and struggling to tell someone he's fallen head over heels with that they aren't human??? You must be some "alpha bro" that thinks feelings are stupid and only for chicks.
He has a deep and profound connection to this woman and he basically has to destroy her world and everything she knows or thought she knew. God I feel sorry for anyone you end up in a relationship with.
I actually don't think its super villainy if you look at it from the perspective that he has full autonomy on what he does with Paige on Elysium. He's not the person he was in his amnesia year any more. He will want to do good and help Elysium grow and prosper. He wants nothing to do with Synthstar's plans and instead would likely work with Pandora to free Elysium from Corporate greed and rule.
His mom clearly knows she's not a great person and even made Skylar in the image of everything she wished she had been as a mother. She clearly has no confidence in humanity to "do the right thing" because greed and hatred will always rule over kindness and she's very much correct. She's not going the Thanos route even though she likely could, but instead wants her son to try to do better and shape Elysium to be a world where corporate greed doesn't get to win.
Propping her son up to be a "savior" as her own legacy so he can have his own eventually is admittedly VERY narcissistic but she's doing it for her son to be able to have a fresh start somewhere, have support to make a difference, and live a good life hopefully.
Add 10k more! I'm loving it! The flashbacks are obviously crucial to the story and were done very well especially that last one... DAMN THAT HURT! MC was crushed and rightfully so! GG man! Looking forward to day 21 next year!

Day 19.5 MAJOR Choice - you pick between Bethany and Claire or Lexi and Lauren being on the ship with you. So if you picked Lauren and Lexi to be on the ship and available to wake up then Bethany CANNOT be the culprit. Either way she's not awake. Breaking the ship and moving MC over had to be done by someone who was awake and on the ship. Also in the very start of Day 20, MC has a flashback wherein Bethany warns him about Synthstar comping her entire trip and amenities which she said would have cost a fortune and felt like some kind of bribe or something. Maybe they were hoping to lure her over to their side, either way she was worried about them not being trustworthy.I can't recall at all that we have to choose between Beth and another girl at some point
Am I correct in assuming that the choice is between Beth and Lauren and that Lexi is always in the 2nd cryopod in day 20? Also about how far back do we get that choice with Beth?
On the main screen you can go to Major Choices and select which choices you want and select which day to start from. No need to start all the way over unless you don't remember the story.Fuck, I lost all my saves, need to replay the whole game again.

In order to use this function, you need to complete certain days first. Because I all lost my save/I delete all my previous save of last update, it need to complete redo by the slow rate skip function. It cost me a hour or two or more to begin from the start to the beginning of day 20.

yeah, when the echo's were explained for each i immediately thought of someone on the endurance. but the tit size is all wrong from what we know. it would also make the culprit the mother, pre programing an echo to move MC over so he can start evolving Paige by having a couple years stuck as the sole man on a ship full of women. from what we learned about everything, it is something she would absolutely do. but then that would also mean she probably has a 6th echo she never told MC about one that doesnt look like her. if it wasnt impossible id say MC was an echo. when the echos explained their waking up from a coma with amnesia it sounded like MC being woken up on the ship. thats the problem, too much of that flashback sounds like something or someone we already seen. oh well guess we will find out next year or so

It's an interesting theory that the fame-seeking Echo is Gigi. It would be fairly simple to recast the Echo's face and body to look like the actual Gigi, and being that they are stuck in space with no communication capability with Earth the people on the ship wouldn't have any way to tell that it's not the real one. As further insurance, MC's mom could have talked to the real Gigi on Earth and paid her gobs of money to lay low for the rest of her life, especially if she was on the outs with the Galaxy Girls and didn't have much prospects or desire for any sort of solo career. They would concoct a cover story that Gigi went to Elysium and the real one was never seen again in public while she sat on the beach in Fiji. The Echo version arrives on Elysium already having name and face recognition to work her PR magic for MC.

At first I thought we were going to see Gigi as well when we were going to see the fame-seeking Echo. Although it should be easy to recast the face, I doubt they did it. They didn't do it with Skylar, so why would they do it with Verona or any of the other echo units? If I recall correctly, Miranda said something among the lines of that even on Elysium they would leek similar to each other, but different enough to not make it too easy to see immediately.

It's not about being a "alpha bro." It's about taking everything you just said about the affect that this revelation would have on Skylar and being the rock that she can lean on at that moment. You can go and cry in the shower with Paige and deal with your emotions later. But at that moment, you need to be strong for the woman you love. Instead he makes it about himself (he even acknowledges this), and she ends up consoling him.
And no need to feel sorry for anyone on my end. My wife and daughters are very proud to have a strong man/father to lean on (though I'm guessing you would probably call it "toxic masculinity").

If they are trying to repurpose an existing celebrity (Gigi) then it would be imperative that they make the Echo be her doppelganger. That would save a lot of time getting MC established, as a totally random and unknown person having to start up an influencer campaign while also getting acclimated to a new planet and society would take considerable time or even fail outright. Gigi has fans and people would be interested in what she's doing right out of the gate. Also, Miranda said that 3 months before the departure, and if the opportunity presented for them to leverage Gigi's celebrity in that time they could retool Verona for that purpose. It would also be weird if the most famous legal mind on the planet looked almost exactly like the most famous medical expert who also looked like the twins who looked like the up-and-coming social media influencer. Someone doing the equivalent of a Google image search would get lots of confusing cross-pollination revealing that they all look almost exactly the same, especially if they also hit a bunch of Miranda facial matches. There aren't that many people living there (fewer than 150,000) for that to not be a bizarre coincidence.

If we were talking about a sane and rational person, your arguments would be fine. However we are talking about Miranda, a very delusional and self-obsessed woman. Like someone on Steam said: She is way too self-obsessed to accept her not being the face on all of the Echo units. She doesn't even seem to see that her plan is beyond insane and a terrible idea, even without her own son being in danger multiple times: on earth with the procedure of attaching Paige to his brain and on Elysium getting a big ass target on his back.
Imo the chance of Ishani indeed being the culprit is higher than Verona getting Gigi's face, and I'm pretty sure Ishani working for "the bad guys" (I doubt they're worse than Miranda after D20's flashback tbh) is a red herring.
