You don't. There's three options, load a save from the end of season 1, don't load a save and pick your major choices from season 1 (good if you lost your save and gives you good stats with everyone), or get some default choices and good stats without loading a save.
However, I do recommend finishing season 1 before diving into season 2 or the story will make zero sense honestly...

might be just me, but this update was kind of a boner killer for me. Aheago faces in every single sex scene... Like.... it´s okay from time to time, but every single one? Come on.... Thats just overkill

The new update is great, but for me it's missing a very important thing that I really liked in part 1, which is the choice at the end of each scene, inside and outside.
