still it could be that his decition was a bit too hasty.
nobody can predict how someones life could change suddenly,and in a blink of an eye to nuke everything and bail that was maybe not the smartest move.

pause the pantreon account for indefinite time would been far better to see how the near future is forming for a person.
and if the circumstances change and that can happen quickly then it can be continiued where it halted.

As sad as it is, I understand Flynn needing to nuke everything, if I had this kind of project hanging over my head while I was also dealing with family problems it would make it 10 times worse. It's clear to me Flynn was (and probably still is) super passionate about this game, and if he thinks a clean break is what's needed then I would imagine what he is going through is truly awful.
I disagree that the decision was made hastily, in his statement he talked about deliberating about this choice for a long time, and being in denial. Its the blink of an eye for us, but for him it was probably weeks if not months of uncertainty and stress.
