I guess, I could make something of a guide for anyone interested in giving this game a try.
It's not a 1 star game. I'd personally put it at a 2-3 out of 5. Had the animations and drawings been better and had the whole skill (tree) and summoning been more fleshed out and the TP in combat been more thought through, it could easily have landed in the 4 out of 5 territory. Merely starting at 20 TP would make the world of a difference, instead of having to start the combat with most of the team sleeping and skipping many turns... and then having the mage kill all the enemies, before they could wake up.
Don't go in it for the porn, it's kind of badly drawn and animated. Do it to escape from the deadly and weird arena. Seeing the story unfold and to show them who's boss. Do it for the challanges it presents. What kept me engaged the first time around was the boss fights (the ones you fight in actual combat) and that it has porn in the background (ofc.). The boss fights are little puzzles
Should you want to go legit and clear the last boss. It'll be around 10 hours or 12+ if you are an idiot like me.
Sell the Eldri Slime card you got from the first combat. Buy a "Silver Sword" and a "Windstopper" light armor with the money. You'll be able to defeat the first boss in 2-3 hits. The golden chests for the rogue and the wizard spawned for me in the first dungeon after a few runs. The wizard chest might have been in the second dungeon. I'd like some confirmation from other people on this spawn.
You can unlearn skills, use and experiment with them as you see fit: The first time I tried this game I rarely used skill books until the end of the game, since I waited for the best version as to not waste a skill slot on an inferior skill. The second time around I remembered it in the second dungeon.
The ultimates are a joke and should be one of the first skills you forget: The conditions for them are too horrendous. Being under 10% health is one-shot territory in normal combat. In boss combat being under 50% health is one-shot territory. You are very unlikely to even get it off, as the combat's turn of order has to align perfectly with the damage you take. Then even if you get it off, it's much more likely to lead to a wipe for your own team. Should that team member instead and quite likely die, you'll have to keep fighting from behind and playing catch up with the boss. Unyieldy, unlikely, unnecessary, and unsatisfying.
There are other adventures in the gathering place/inn/cafeteria(?). They can be hired if you find special items from golden chests in the dungeon. You NEED the mage. She sucks butt in the start, as she is squishy, has
You can mix and match the colours of DNA pieces, to create different creatures with different stat growth and icons, that fights for you. The summoning only counts the head part as special in regards to it's stat growth and skills. Using an Orochi green DNA ("last" boss) and green DNA from the first slime you encounter yields the same stats, when placed as a body part other than the head as it'll only count as green piece.
You can get a special summoned creature from the vampire queen. It's a white piece in the inventory although it shows up as blue on the board when placed. She has some really powerful skills and can wear equipment (but not a weapon) unlike all the other summons. Her stat growth needed to support the awesome magical spell is sadly not there sufficiently and her max HP is abysmal: I think, I spend an extra 3-5 hours farming for DNA pieces from the other bosses. Since I remembered there being a special summon. I just forgot the conditions for this and was under the idea I needed 4 pieces of one of the bosses to summon her. I just forgot which and what the summon was in the first place.
My tip for the last of the last parts is to farm for an Orochi DNA piece. Make it into a healer/fighter: The growth is sadly simply not there for a casting damager. The attack is really good and the summoned creature, will have a huge health and mp pool. Perfect for a healer, as it'll almost always be the last one standing. Coupled with the status resistances you'll have some form of control over the battlefield with that as a minion.
If anyone has trouble with any of the bosses, you can always ask me, and I'll give you some hints or strategies.
