Afraid not, sorry. I have no idea how to make double byte text work. I looked into it in the past and left me very confused.

Unfortunately no. Once a room is built it can not be changed.

When do you get the virus pop up? When you download the file, when you try to open the zip file or when you run the program? Those files haven't been changed since they were first uploaded and no one else has reported that so I'm not sure why you would be seeing that. I did download it and was able to open it with no issues and the zip file is the same as my original. So I don't see how they could have embedded a virus. My guess is a false alarm, but I don't blame you if you don't want to install it.

You can get 1.0 from here too: MEGA See if that works. You can skip 1.01 as 1.02 can read the 1.0 saves).

Thanks. Adding the character colors to the dialogs required having to change literally thousands of "I" and "You" strings into pronoun codes and some are not being mapped into the proper words. (The missing space in "clubis" however has been there since day 1 lol). I fixed about a dozen similar ones since the update.

Employees not doing their job is the most realistic part of this game :D
i can download now but only one time per day it look before posting this i download all of the 1 to 1.03 that i got now what i need if i refresh or click on the link i get this

Malicious Website Blocked
You attempted to access
brittlesturdyunlovable wed site i took the link down

i see the gofile page for a sec then i get this page it does it also any link to gofile on other games from here

That, and thinking you've swayed a girl to turn a blind eye to your harem, then to learn she's strong-willed and you fooled yourself. :)

I'm having fun with the helicopter mothers. They get freaky, too, and stop bothering me.

I wanted to add a funny quirk I just noticed. I was arriving at a party, when I was notified (interrupted) about a cake incident in the kitchen. After I coaxed the eater to quit, I was then offered the chance to Mingle With the Guests. Odd, but I did get to mingle with the kitchen staff instead. :)
The interruptions while attending a party is an issue I haven't come up with a good solution for. I want to fix it but don't know how.

What is the BDSM room for? Do I need to have noncon enabled to see any options?
No. Participation in the BDSM room is completely voluntary! But currently there's not much content for it, it just enables the corporal punishment option for employees.

Still not getting to the point where the mob will work for me. I am never presented any options other than to fight or submit, so I keep kicking the guy's ass. Sometimes I can show them my security team and they leave, but that's it. Could it be I am just misunderstanding the statement "I will do what I want"? It looks like I will let them open the safe, so I never choose it.

I'll add that they once declared an end to the collection attempts as they left. Didn't hold true. And the thug tried to rape me once. I took him to court and he was convicted. Win!

Edit: They're back, the goon tried to rape me, but they were intimidated by my squad. Now promising to come back next month with an offer. A day or so later, I get the chance to report the attempted rape. This time I decided NO. Maybe, just maybe this will work and they will come back peacefully. I probably screwed my chances last time.

Edit+: Got the mob to remove one useless helicopter mother from the game. I am so satisfied that I started over. Gotta say, the Latinas in this game are the hottest (my favorite, anyway), and if you play as a Hispanic male, there seems to be a lot more of them around. Meet club owner Rico Suavé. :)
Nice :)

I looked more into this and I forgot that there's two levels of intimidation: a lower one that only works for one time, but they will be back the next month and a higher level that stops them for good and opens them for doing jobs for you. The threshold for the higher one was probably too high so I lowered it a bit for the next release. It was also giving you more weight relative to the bouncers which made it so that if you weren't good at fighting, it was hard to make up the difference with bouncers.

TotalFluke I am sorry, but I have yet another one for your bug list (this has been ingame forever actually, so I probably missed to report it earlier):

If I am not mistaken, you want the private investigator to only take a single job at a time. This can be circumvented by sending messages to show up for a job next morning. Currently one can queue those up and thus send him/her to investigate x people in a row.

Either this has to be fixed or you make it a proper queue :D

P.S. I just noticed that I cannot work as a cook anymore and no changelog mentions anything about it either?
I'll look into the PI issue. Thanks.

Assuming the reason you can't work as a cook is that you don't have a cook working for you, this was a bug fix in version 1.0. It was listed in the change log. And there was a discussion on this thread, which I'm too lazy to look up right now.

If you do have a cook hired and can't work as a cook, then that could be a different bug and more info would be appreciated.

Not restricted to parties, though you are aware of that. All sorts of things get interrupted.

I have one request about the downtown shopping. Can it be fixed so we can back out of a choice and make another? As it is, time leaps forward if you decide not to make a purchase.

I want to thank you for being so involved here, and working hard to improve your game. It's already very addictive.

No worries, it was the issue mentioned by the other user earlier, so no new bug there. Not sure why that was changed but it is what it is. It has always bugged me that one couldnt barkeep to begin with until one can hire someone else for example, which would be the obvious thing to do when you open your own shop. Not allowing to do things on my own and spending my own energy has always eluded me.

I've read a couple of notes about this game crashing. It happens to me at least twice a day, but I mostly put up with it. But why? I've never seen anything like this.

Win 10 64k (up to date)
32 GB ram
NVidia RTX 3060 video card (latest driver)

I run dual monitors. They both flicker, go black, sometimes stay black, sometimes one stops responding, sometimes the crash just happens and everything remains stable except SCW is down. Sometimes the PC freezes black and has to be rebooted. There's a small box that pops up sometimes, but it disappears so fast I can't read what it says. Seems to be a single component of the game.

Anyway, it does crash. Yet I love it.

This package contains absolutely all the packages ever posted on the forum.

How to install it:
Copy the characters folder into the main game folder(click on replace all).
Open the config.dat file -> press ctrl+f -> search for "image_modules string scw" -> replace with -> "image_modules string scw,ccw,nyb,exp,gar,dstu,lfm".

I have a truly stupid question, but here goes. I've only installed the author's Megapack. Will this just add more characters, or replace those?

Once you start looking for a certain item, that uses up the time. You can't change your mind then and get that time back.

I hear you and honestly I wish I had a good way to fix it. But the technical aspect of fixing that is not simple which is why it is like that.

Sorry about that. I wish I had some solution for this but without knowing what causes the crash it's impossible to do so. Were you getting these crashes all along or did they start after installing a version? Did they start from the beginning of the game or after you got to a certain point? What's your PC's region and language (under settings, go to Time & Language)?

When it happens, go to the log directory (normally: C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\LocalLow\Total Fluke Studios\StripClubWars\Player.log) and check the last few lines. Rename the file so it doesn't get overwritten the next time. And keep a handful of these files so you can compare them. If everytime it crashes the last few lines look the same, that can be helpful. If they are different each time, then not.

I also recommend you change the config value of the auto_save_freq setting from 20 to 2 or 3 (that tells it how often to make an auto save).

This is a great service, thanks! However, please add that line in the user_config.dat file instead. If you change it on the config.dat file, you will lose it every time you update the game. While putting it in the user_config.dat file won't be lost.

This has been happening for the several weeks I've played your game, both the new version and the prior. PC is set to UTC-8. English-US.

I'll save a few and see what they look like in comparison. Thanks for the tip.
What about the file called Player-prev.log? What I see in it is a few references like this:

Used Block count 1
Peak Allocated bytes 3.9 MB
Failed Allocations. Bucket layout:

There's a truckload of data that gets held in RAM and mounts up the longer you run a single session. Most likely you've run out of RAM. Even if you had an obscene amount of system memory available, it's going to fill up eventually.

Only way around it is to save often and manually close to free the RAM up again. I think the shortest autosave period you can set in the config file is 2 days, from memory.

So it just crashed, but didn't take down my video card for once. Here's the last portion of the player.log file:

I can't read the dmp file, and it won't upload here. I could send it to you otherwise, I suppose. Never used the DM system here. I have renamed that player.log for preservation, and now have two old ones retained.

Check your System event log for instances of event ID 2004 just prior to the crash time (will likely be from exactly the same minute your player.log file stopped writing).

An example from my most recent crash that also produces 'Attempt to access invalid address' in the player log file.

Here's what the report says. The last error is about "The paging file is too small for this operation to complete."

Here's what the report says.
Resource exhaustion Diagnosis event - that would immediately catch my eye. Even a non-technical person should get an indication of something going downhill in terms of 'lack of resources'. Open that event and look into the details. Probably the exact same type of problem as Squeeze pointed out on his machine. Low memory , low virtual memory etc

P.S. Not everything has to be an error in Windows to fail. Warnings are often as serious as actual errors ;)

Use the filter to specifically isolate event ID 2004 records.

But yeah, you ran out of RAM.

The game really needs a way to dump from RAM to local storage periodically.
Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: StripClubWars.exe (4904) consumed 119428882432 bytes, Photoshop.exe (15876) consumed 4366090240 bytes, and firefox.exe (14780) consumed 564121600 bytes.

A novice here, but I'm thinking this game is a resource hog. :) I should try running it with everything else down.
