Simply open up your Resource Monitor on Windows and run a log on it. Scenes get initialized and people in them as well. Some might get thrown away , when not used anymore and others wont, as their object is still needed , even if you dont see them in the current scene. With time the number of people grows naturally thus also the number of objects to be handled.

It could also be some kind of "undo/redo" feature native to the engine, like in Ren'py, saving the game state before every single user action. Having a history made of thousands of game states can grow to a pretty big memory usage.

My second comment was about tinkering with the save. There are comments as I indicated under all characters you are in a relationship with. I was just wondering if the X can be converted to another symbol that will make them blind to my ... philandering.
AH, didn't realize you were referring to a save file. Those entries mean that they just had that discussion with you and not to do it again until the time given by the following field. The X means it happened. You can change the date in the next field to a higher value to make it take longer for them to ask you again about it.

I know that we can pick the time to train someone, but are we able to schedule multiple people through out the day to train yet.
No, only one person can be trained at a time.

I'd like you to consider some extension to a persons profile. Currently it costs quite a lot of money and time to get a background check. While some of the info in it is perfectly reflected in an update of that persons profile, some of it is not while being important and valuable.

I marked it in red for this example. This is info that disappears unless one keeps a hand-written list of this stuff (which is the worst for a modern game to keep written lists on the side).

Maybe save the report as an extra block of info for each person, which would double as info on who was background checked and when. Things like being very envious , anger problems etc should have some static place on a profile.
Interesting point. Hadn't considered that. That info is a bit iffy. It doesn't mean that the person will have anger management issues but that their current personality may lead to them. For example, anger is highly dependent on happiness which changes a lot. So if they become happier, they won't have anger issues in the future. The lazy one depends on their opinion of working/not working which can also change. That said, once you know someone's happiness you always know it even when it changes, so the same could apply here. Need to think about it.

i encoutered not properly coded situation in game, when talking with with one girl, she proposed threesome with her friend (which was coincidentaly my girlfriends who hates monogamy) and she refused.
and after some time when talking to another girl she propoed threesome too, and fun enough, it was my girlfriend again. and she again refused.
and when i looked at her, she was complete straight.

so there is bug in eighter in that that my (cheating) girlfriend have girlfriends despite begin straight OR it lack some "bonuses" for threesome from her good friends.

and this leads to some interesing questions . it is posible to talk with girl who will offer you threesome with another male ?
and second one, when hanging out with male friend, that you will try to catch some girl to threesome (or you/him will offer his (girl)friend) or some random girl will approach you with same offer.

and posibility for future - implement foursomes - in which you will be aproched by pair of male/female or female/female or male/mle depending if you hanging out with male or female (and on yours gender).

mfff and mmmf combos are posible too, but it will be harder to code. but surely interesing to encouter.
In your 3some examples you seem to be implying a relationship between the 2 girls. I don't think that's necessarily the case. There's two kinds of 3-some proposals. One in which you are asked to join a couple and another in which a 3rd is asking to join your couple. Seems to me these are examples of the later. This girl wants to join you and your girlfriend in 3-some but your girlfriend doesn't want to because she doesn't like girls.

3somes were a bitch to code. No way I'm touching 4-somes o_O

SCW is using 4 GB of RAM after a few mins of playing, and 10GB after an hour, so that can explain why you get frequent crashes if you have low available RAM.

For the record, on the 2 PC's I have I never seen this. One of them is running Windows 10 and has 8GB of RAM. The memory usage never gets anywhere near that. I don't know what it is about some setups that's causing this. On the next version I'll start logging memory usage so that I can get more info as to what's going on.

and one bug .
kitchen is listed as upgradeable, but it is imposible to upgrade it. restrooms and others rooms can be upgraded without problem.
Do you have 2 cooks? You can only upgrade a room once you have maxed out all the employee slots they provide.

Jesus, this game needs a full guide/tutorial or phone support line. No clue how to go about getting things going... or is it supposed to take in-game years to get anywhere?

You state the exact point this is so important. You know by heart that some combo of attributes means a certain 'mind set' but there isnt any way for a player to easily see the same. A background check is always temporary which we understand as players, but when the results have impacts on decisions like 'do i want to hire that person or do i prefer another one instead' - which I believe is the main reason why anyone would use the investigator in the first place - it needs to be retained somehow as info. Otherwise the investigator becomes a pure money sink, as the info is hard to keep track of if not retained on people's profile.

Another user asked for QoL a few posts earlier, which is pretty much the same as this, as there is currently no simple way to keep track of who has been checked and who wasnt either. Currently a person has many attributes and skills that cannot be uncovered easily but to interact with them constantly or to get them to interview for jobs. Using the job interview as uncovering method leaves us with a malus for not hiring them and having long interviews. I feel there is a lack of balance here and for the investment for the investigator we get very little retainable info as players.

The game is interesting. But if there is an opportunity to make the characters less static. At least add animation to them as in pbx lab 2.

I have to say, I like the game so far and all the contained potential.
I would see a version where if you corrupt a character in the game, there is a little bit of image transformation.
For example, if you convince someone of loving revealing clothes and sex they can start wearing heavier makeup or getting some tattoos and piercings if combined with other opinions. That would tie in a little bit better with the game dynamics and some other comments in this thread.
After getting hooked with the curiosity, I started experimenting with Civitai but with vey little luck so far. I haven't been able to upload any image and use it as a LORA as someone suggested. It might be because I´m using the freeware version...

In the past I adjusted the auto save frequency using the user_config file. It however has stopped working. I never changed anything, it worked, and then it didn't. I also have other changed settings in there that still do work. It's just the auto_save_freq that isn't working. Anyone have any idea why?

I believe it is because you are auto saving every single day with that setting and the minimum is 2.

Great game, I have a couple of game play suggestions if possible and a bug/feature that may need tuning.

1) Selfies of MC. It would be nice to have a way to take MC selfies (various states of undress) and post to social media.

2) One word: TWINS (or even triplets ;) ). You already have a way to do siblings, maybe an occasional pair of twins (use same image set). Could make things a bit interesting.


3) Commissioners selecting laws to vote on. I spent a lot of game time convincing all 7 commissioners to strongly favor Singers Allowed, yet they chose other laws to vote on then all 7 voted no(took 2 or three times before they chose SA). When they finally chose SA to vote on it passed no problem. I did check the save file and all of the Comms had
law_aff_singers_allowed in their info so I would have figured they would want to vote on that law. It seems to be taking longer for laws to get passed in this version overall than it did in previous versions.

Ditto that. I bribed all seven to pass a law, and only one voted yes. It's better to just ignore them on the early laws, because they are quite fickle about it. Can't agree, can't pass anything. Bribed or ignored.

Using LR2 as an example for obvious reasons, you could talk to a person 5 or 6 times in a single time period, potentially uncovering multiple preferences.

Unless I'm missing something, you seem to be limited to like a 20% chance of discovering a single trait per time period, here? It's taken forever just to learn anything about a handful of primary characters.

The one area where this is addressed is with the commissioners. If you want to, you can "get to know them better" and ask four questions.

Oh yeah they have another socializing option under the discuss laws header. Weird location, but it's nice it's an option! Thanks for the heads up.

Also, I'm unable to build a sex room. Prostitution has been legalized, and I have one private dance room built (and a second under construction). I have space to build (23/30 rooms). Is there some other prerequisite I'm missing?

Would you (the uploader) PLEASE put all parts in 1 download so I do not have to manage half a dozen of separate files in order to play your latest part. I do not know why you do it in many parts, but it is not helping the players when you do. If some do want separate files perhaps both options can be done,yes?

It's been mentioned somewhere upthread that what the commissioners think of a particular law is independent of what types of laws they favor in general. The law_types.txt file has all the modifiers, but for example getting the commissioners to be attracted to women and like voyeurism, entertainment work, skimpy clothing and sex work will all cause them to be more likely to choose entertainment laws such as Singers Allowed.
