anyone have an issue with dancers not being able to be voted on? Everything has been voted say for afternoon being opened monday- Friday but no luck in being able to get dancers.

maybe u filter when u play game and when u restart game filter reset?
I haven't experienced it before
also when you filter with "Romantic" your Ex Girlfriends are still shown, dont know if that is on purpose or not, would like to rather not have them there, have to filter with favourites additionally because of that

the contacts list only seems to update info when restarting the game. is this a bug?
I have noticed in the latest version if you start a new game after loading a game the sister in the contacts list will keep the name and icon from the previous save. It seems the contact list doesn't properly refresh when the data changes between different saves.

So i fiddled around with the Prices because they were too low and i read that once i reach "the customers are not satisfied with the price" i have reached the perfect Price, i raised the Game Room Tokens too like 6k and made 500k profit in one Day, after that i think somethin is broken now lol. i dont get customers at all anymore. But the customers never said the Price is too high though lol. i hope i havent bricked my save now.

Edit1: So its not really broken yet, glad i didnt make a save before -.- but only 1/3 of my regular customers attend now and the transaction are also 1/3, maybe it will get better over time again, will c

Edit2:So everything is back on track, there are some things connected to each other it seems. Even after setting the Game Tokens back to 1$ nothing worked to raise my customers again, so i cut my recently raised food and drink prices by 50% and that did the trick. Maybe it wasnt showing now that they are too high.
Customers back on track, Transactions and Satisfaction back on track. phew what a little adventure.
Two things: the system is not optimized to work well with absurdly high prices. If a price is too high, it will just give an very negative value to satisfaction that will affect the whole club and will cause it's customer base to dwindle.

Second, the reaction to price changes is not immediate and takes time to stabilize. High prices lead to lower satisfaction, which lowers fame which lowers customers. So the first day you raise prices you still will get a ton of people to show up and make a lot of money because they weren't expecting the high prices. But then they will stop showing up. It also works in the other direction. Lower prices increases satisfaction which increases fame which increases customers. But again, it takes a while to stabilize.

Also worth pointing out since this hasn't come up in a while... each customer has a set budget: how much they can spend. Some have large budgets, some have small budgets, the ratio depends on the district wealth. If you set the price a of a drink at $50, some customers will spend the $50 on that drink, but that will use up their whole budget and won't spend any money in other things. The guy with the $1000 budget may still buy the usual 3-5 drinks and still be able to spend money on other things.

Yes. Broke that on the redesign of the contacts page so it won't update when something changes. It may update at random points but you can't rely on it. Sorry about that. Will be fixed on the next version.

That's not a bug. It's like that on purpose. I find it useful that way but I understand not everyone will agree on this.

Dancers allowed required the open all days law. (Some of these requirements are weird, but that's mostly to enforce a logical progression of laws, from easiest to hardest).
i legit have the laws on all days open, everything else passed, they're just voting on being open on noon for all days

you know there are currently no laws that players wouldn't want the commissioners to vote for, maybe you should introduce some laws that people wouldn't want to be implemented and a way to repeal laws once they have been implemented. like more conservative clothing laws and stuff.

First off, Fluke, major props to you on your fantastic work.

I've barely been able to pull myself away since discovering this gem last week

I wanted to ask about the internal funtions. (I'd actually spent hours upon hours trying to find stuff like 'check_sex_act', res (as in, res["why"] editing stuff that made no difference, trying to figure out what was happening in the .tfo files etc until i saw your helpful comments about all that; d'oh!) :)

I'm guessing there's no way to edit or override those, huh? Or I guess if i wanted to I'd need to be able to copy the original function before adding anything so I don't leave anything out that should still be here.

Been hooking up with one girl in a relationship but can't manage to do anything in front of her bf, no matter how hard i've tried, lol, even though he's extremely submissive and she loves public sex and has 100/100 relations

Additionally, since it seems impossible to get anyone to have a 2nd relationship, maybe you should consider the poly factor; i'm not sure that's a thing the way it is. like on romrel.tfl, line 112 is:

set $val = 0 - rel:best.closeness * 3 + $val;

Perhaps the 3 should be set to something much smaller if she's poly (and maybe something in between if they like cheating; also I suppose in this case don't factor like of casual sex as you do with other cheating options)

For myself, I wrote this from line104+, but need to fiddle with the values: (underscores are for formatting; putting the code it in a spoiler seems to have removed the formatting when it's blank spaces)

Or maybe there could be a relationship type when proposing a relationship to begin with, and/or changing the terms of an existing one, though that may be too much work. I'm happy to try to code it for you if you're interested though.

Some brief questions.

1. Regarding X film audition. You cannot pass "casting" if you are penis average sized? Only large sized pass? Despite all sex related MC stats are close or reached 100. I am systematicallly rejected.

2. Incest active. Mother is bisexual and only engage sexual acts via threesome, one on one never. "Is not attracted to your gender". However, straight both sisters do. All of them have a love opinion of incest but only mother rejects it.

3. Start up menu, MC configuration. Is it possible to edit or choose somehow initial sister portrait, city name...etc. In sum to have some tools to not rely that much in randomness? Expand and be able to control at least some random initial features?

4. There will be any chance in the future to organize and invite people to your own parties?

5. Is there any public roadmap?

6. Is a Discord channel planned in the future? Just an idea.

Been one of the best games I found in the recent years over here and I was pleased to find such complexity in an erotic game. Keep it up, I hope this game will grow over time.

Have you convinced her to like/love being polyamorous? Poly is an opinion in the game that each character can have an opinion on. From my experience, if they like poly and enjoy cheating on partner, you should have little issue having a relationship with them.

Also the 100/100 means she likes you 100 as a person and finds you 100 attractive.

A note on population cheats. I followed a suggestion from a page or two back, and quintupled the starting population. It does, indeed, make early business easier. It also ruins maintenance in late game. It's nearly impossible to keep up with the limit of four workers, and my help couldn't keep the volume of work under 1,000 units most days. Each day I was notified I didn't have enough room for my would-be customers.

At max occupancy, four maintenance workers are inadequate.

That was fun!

A note on population cheats. I followed a suggestion from a page or two back, and quintupled the starting population. It does, indeed, make early business easier. It also ruins maintenance in late game. It's nearly impossible to keep up with the limit of four workers, and my help couldn't keep the volume of work under 1,000 units most days. Each day I was notified I didn't have enough room for my would-be customers.

At max occupancy, four maintenance workers are inadequate.

That was fun!
U can edit the roomtypes so u can have more janitors I think

Thanks I appreciate the feedback! Anyway, feel free to make any changes you like, I absolutely don't want to tell people how to play the game. If you are going to make heavy changes, I suggest you put them in a mod, even if it's only for your own use. That will make it easier when the code changes on each release. Also, I assume you saw this, but there's two documents in the mods directory that can explain a lot of how the TFL code works. If you haven't read those, I suggest you do.

As for your specific questions, the built-in functions like check_sex_act can not be overwritten. You can of course rewrite them, and find every instance of them in the code and replace them with your own function. But most such functions need data that's not exposed via the API so it wouldn't work anyway. (However, this one in particular is done in the Unity code for performance reasons - it gets called a lot!).

As for the girl in a relationship you are trying to hook up with, it's hard (not supposed to be easy). You either need to get her to like you more than her bf, hate being in relationships or like polyamory/hate monogamy. In all likelihood you will need a combination of those. However, if she has high compassion, she will likely not do something like that if it will hurt her bf and there's probably nothing you can do about that.

As for the romrel.tfl question... you are probably right that liking polyamory should cause that particular clause to not take effect. Will look into that. However, cheating/casual sex would not be a factor here. The purpose of the function is to indicate if a person wants to have a proper relationship with the target, not casual sex.

As for your code, I think you should add the "+ $val" to the various lines that update the value of $val - otherwise you lose the info gathered earlier in the function. Your multipliers a bit high, IMO. The value of likes will be -2 to 2 so multiplying by 65 would make the result 130 and 100 is the max it can be. So basically someone who loves polyamory would always say yes to any relationship offer, regardless of how they feel about the other person.

Note that the knowledge stuff only applies to club owners and it's mostly used for making job-related decisions. All other NPC/NPC interactions work assuming they have full knowledge of the other person's attributes, but that doesn't come into play very often (if at all, I can't think of a situation where it does). In general the gossips are used instead as ways for NPCs to make decisions based on what they know about others.

1. No it doesn't have to be large. But it can't be small. Average sized dicks should still be allowed.
2. The mom is hardcoded to be straight. Did you cheat to make her bi? (Are you male or female?).
3. Yeah, that's on the roadmap, not the picking images that would be too messy for a number of reasons, but setting more options via an interface rather than editing a config file is in the list.
4. There's always a chance. My answer would be that there would need to be something interesting about it to deal with the complexity of managing a guest list. And so far I haven't come up with it.
5. The road map is just a bunch of notes to self, categorized into bugs, things to do next, long term projects, and wishlist that won't get to! But not in any form that I can post - not because I don't want the visibility but because the format is so messy.
6. Actually, that's on my to-do list. Mostly concerned that the subject matter would cause issues on a free discord server platform and I can't afford to set up my own server.

Yeah, that's not going to work. A better option for an easier start would be to update the initial fame via the config file. That's a new option that only affects the early game (you can start with 100 fame or 200 fame instead of 25) and that drives more people in early, but it doesn't multiply things all game long like changing the population.

Does jacking up the prices, especially cover charge, to make the club more exclusive and reduce demand not work?

Not a theory that crossed my mind in this playthrough, but I've tried it with a more traditional setup. The outcome is spotty, and hard to predict. Making people dislike the club does reduce traffic. :)

I am male. Some time after mother appeared, she texted me she was asking for support after caming out as Bisexual. I only touched user config files to enable tabboos. Nothing else.

Could someone give advice for the best start? What order to take your traits in or best way to set your club on the first day?

I'm not asking for a walkthrough, just want to not end up penniless before my mother arrives.

I managed once to see another club close and thought I was doing well. I even had the highest fame, then suddenly the closed club got a new unknown owner and I was at the bottom of the pile. I still don't know what happened.

"achievement help" how do i get the love thy family achievement? its one of the last achievements I need but I cant figure out how to do it. They keep saying they wont do it because we're family
