Not trying to drag the conversation out, but this is incorrect. I had zero issues in the browser. The only warnings I got were after the file was already on my system. To date, this is the only zip file (from anywhere in my long history of internetting) that has acted this way for me once it has been downloaded.

As for people blaming choice of file host... I only download from Gofile, Pixeldrain and Mega if I can help it and this happened to me on files from Pixel and Gofile.

I'll try through the dev's discord, though. I'm truly interested in this game.

Edit - File from the dev's discord (mega) gave no issues. and scans came up clean. :)
I am guessing you did not understand or did not read the post properly I at no point said it was the host re-read it. If you downloaded it correct me if I am wrong you downloaded it though a web page. Thus assuming you did have an infection which I can not verify it would carry that infection to your hard drive (either from the host or the webpage/adverts them selves). Scanning with something like (only for example) Bitdefender will give you a warning or not relying on something like windows defender would be pointless. I am trying to help people by saying yes virus/malware exists in files in some cases due to embedded ads which are changable thus sometimes one day they are fine other days they are not depending on the ad that day. Mega will scan the file itself before downloading it with its app therfore would be the exception as it would measure the expected size and the downloadable size. Just like you I have used the internet for a long time in fact I pre date the internet when I sysoped it and I own 3 internet security companies. I generally dont get involved in these discussions on this forum as in the past I have had very poor unprofessional responses from the sites staff so I leave it to them

The host portion was not in response to you, which is why I prefaced it with "as for people blaming choice of file host" and started a new paragraph. Two different responses to two different topics.

And you are correct, I misunderstood the post of yours that I replied to. Consequence of reading and replying at half-past midnight.

This is exactly right. The "fast start" actually turns out to be a bit of a hard mode too without cheating. The design choices in this are so amazingly flawed and the coding mechanics effectively makes it a time bomb so by the time your year long intro bar time (irl usually 10 hours without cheating) is over your in a crashtastic state no matter the strength of your PC due to the unnecessary drag.

And the cherry on top: the use of an info save system ensures that when the game implodes from its own weight your saves are forever scuffed unless you know how to edit because it saves the damage to the data. Simply brilliant if this was meant as a psychological experiment or elaborate prank. As a game its just fun enough to keep you going "ok a few more turns and it'll be strip club sim....or a few more after..."
I've not had a single memory-based crash since the launch of v2 whereas I would have to constantly check RAM usage with v1.

Unless you're running a jacket potato, there's minimal risk of crashing.

Here's a weird situation. My childhood friend broke up with her husband(boyfriend?) on her own in between asking me out to lunch for the first time, and having that lunch. So I keep having lunches where the only option is to get to know her, and give her a hug at the end. But separate from that she has slept with me several times. I now control the cult, but that interaction never changes (except that I mostly get no new information out of it).

I've been playing the game since the very first release but I'm always struggling to try to turn a profit. I always eventually death spiral to a point where I have so much debt that I can't hire people to replace those that eventually quit. Does anybody have any tips that helped them turn that corner and start turning a profit?
I had that problem when I first started too, it was due to the fact that I didn't bother adjusting prices and just left them at their default.

Two things that seem to make a difference are to get the singers allowed law passed as soon as you possibly can, and to hire the lewdest people you can in customer facing positions. Hire the first person who wanders in as a bartender, then start looking for someone with higher lewdness. Hire them, then shift the original hire to a cook position. Once singers get legal, hire one, or shift a lewd bartender into that position. Lewdness matters. Try to get dancing, skimpy clothes, and topless passed as quickly as possible after that, so your lewd singer is a stripper within a few months. The money starts turning a corner once you're able to offer live entertainment. Food and drinks alone don't make enough to keep the lights on for long.

Also one mistake I made was buying too much inventory. Early on, try to just buy a day's worth of alcohol and food at a time to avoid tying too much of your cash up in inventory that may take a week to sell through.

Tried it on both gaming laptop and my streaming beast PC. The crash isn't related to cpu usage. Its all about the software you use and actually how fast you click the screen. It isn't an issue on the part of hardware, its the design of the game tripping over itself.

Produce a crash and post the event log for it.

~ Build a kitchen as soon as possible as it's another revenue stream.
~ Focus on lewdness for your first non-sibling bartender. Scout the University / Library for young, cheap staff who you can train and may later become good managers / strippers.
~ Set your employee policy to never allow breaks. Discover your staff's happiness and give them orgasms if it starts dipping.
~ Once the kitchen is complete, build a dressing room and main seating area ASAP. Do not stress if this puts you in debt as it's quite manageable. Not doing anything because you don't want to use leverage is the real death spiral.
~ Purchase only the lowest quality food and alcohol.
~ Set your meal cost to $20.
~ Build an entrance ASAP as it's another revenue stream.
~ Do not build any extra locker rooms or expand any other rooms until you have unlocked all revenue streams and have staff manning them. This is when you're likely to start turning a profit, regardless of whether you have 'entertainment' available.
~ You're likely to have a young bimbo with ridiculous Lewdness constantly approaching you to apply sunscreen etc. Make her your first 'entertainer'.
~ As you hire staff and increase the overall lewdness, your Fame will increase. Each time you reach a multiple of 100 Fame that you haven't achieved before, increase the costs of your products / services. Increase meals by $2 and increase drinks / cover charge by $1.
~ Until you have backup staff in all areas, stay closed on Sunday. Only broaden the hours of operation on Friday / Saturday to capture as much peak traffic as possible.

When I saw that one of the image pack has the name Fiona, I was suddenly reminded of Shrek Rule 34. Damn COVID. Turned me into a degenerate hermit.

should i just play with the megapack or is there more cool suff in other packs?

Unless I'm mistaken the megapack currently has everything that people have made so far? Though I think the most up to date one is here: https://f95zone.to/threads/strip-club-wars-v2-00-total-fluke-studios.187856/post-17479662On top of that you can use the main AI ones by TotalFluke as well and you'll pretty much never see any default characters.
You can run into problems due to demographic spread when using only certain packs so having a wider selection helps prevent seeing the default "masked" face characters.

I completely forgot to mention, too, but I don't have access to any kind of VPN 'cause I can't really afford these things right now but I can no longer access any sources for where I made my image packs due to recent shitty region blocks on adult material. Which means for the foreseeable future I won't be able to make any more. Love that for me. :HideThePain:

Hello, 2 questions regarding npc health:
1. Is the error with the manage phantom club plague thing fixed in the last update?
2. I noticed that if you don't sleep at late at nigh you lose health and also don't recover it even if you sleep in the morning, even if that should also be a full sleep. If that is being applied to npc and they work late nights all days, doesn't that mean that they never recover health sleeping and instead have an extra -1 health modifier per day?

Proton VPN is free seems to be safe but I cant wholly vouch for that as I dont use that I have my own. If you are in the UK sadly VPN is now mandatory due to your communist government

Open the config.dat and change this line:
pass_law_diff float 1.0 # how hard is to pass laws (1.0 = avg, 0.0 = easy, 2.0 = hard)
