How do you get new characters?
I played the game before, but now several times after combat it says I got a character in the loot section after combat, but I didn't actually get any character to join me when I click on collect. I managed to get one, but only due to capturing one during an event.

There should be a button in the dungeon interface that opens a list of captives you can try to recruit or enslave.

When you advance the plot far enough, I think act 3, there is a "Dream Tower" in town. It is a dungeon with infinite floors.

a question, is there a plan to implement a female MC POV to events? I'm having to skip all of them for now so I don't need to deal with the assumed male character but I'm still enjoying all the other aspects of the game just that the named characters are living umbothered while I wait lol

Yes. You can make him belong to a smol race.
And I heard something about a mod that allows you to declare your characters to be extra-young so that you can be an actual shota.
I played the original Strive and when I checked this, there was no content yet. 5 or 6 years later, does the game have enough content to play? How does it compare to the original? The version being 0.10 doesn't sound very promising
Well, there is quite a bit of content in the game.
The mechanics need a lot of work though still. But if you have a reasonable micromanagement/grind tolerance, you can still have plenty of fun

Some of my old handmade mods do not work anymore. I managed to fix them but I would need more information for further changes, I can't manage to join discord for some reason.

i need "Master Training" points to unlock progenecy and others, any way to cheat them? i know saves can be edited with "Notepad++", but i can't find it there
So trying out the latest version and I can't find a way to raise consent beyond "Curious"
Intimate Talk on a date does that, but only once it seems. Propose, despite claiming to massively raise consent, does nothing at all.

I think you need to increase the sex factor. I am not sure if the tutorial give this information but line 678 of
strive-conquest-win64\gui_modules\Interaction\Scripts
seems to aim towards this direction.

Actually there is more than one way to do that with some notepad magic.
The way I do it, whenever I get my mitts on a new version of Strive I go to Gamefolder/assets/data/Traits.gd and swap out all instances of l_cost = 1 to l_cost = 0. That's it. No messing with saves required.
Of course I do more than that and to other gamefiles too, but that would be telling.
wile the "Soul Stone" item can be used to erase undesired traits , but is there any item to give random positive traits ?
