1. No. Once you max stats, (including potential expanding through research) and max your mansion, stats become useless.
Enter in options after you started the game, then it will stay enabled as long as you use saves where it was enabled.
It's been a bit, but the second game currently doesn't have stat points at all after initial character creation IIRC. You spend materials to upgrade character "stat" ranks, or get some free stat boosts from taking certain classes. So the previous "level up to get stat points at each level to spend on things" mechanic no longer exists, which I suppose technically fixes the issue of there not being anything useful to do with surplus points.
So he wanted to go a lil more complex with the upgrading and leveling in the second game huh.
Ok, wait, aside from that, is YOUR CHARACTER put into a forced sex scene? Sorry, it just really annoys meYes sometimes you will be forced into a sex scene in that game.

Only those who are more powerful than you are can force you into anything. Kinda like life innit? xD
My problem isn't with MC getting forced. My problem is with the game not giving you a choice on the matter (that is if the game has such a thing as giving player choices). I have monogamous trait, so I would rather the game didn't force into h-scenes at all, especially considering how more often than giving player a choice wouldn't impact the game at all, but dev just figures that everyone playing the game is horny so they wouldn't mind, and I am just a fucking exception.
Okay, if you're a mono then that game prolly won't work for you, it's a bit harem-king-ish after all. ^^)

I actually tried making the game challenging by starting in Gorn and choosing Alchemist as a job
I can't imagine starting as anything other than Mage.
Well... It was painful honestly. Gorn doesn't have potion ingredients, and no enemies that drop nature essences, for example. But after just a bit of fumbling about, I figured it out. Certain potions sell for a lot of money, so once you are strong enough, you can get a lot of ingredients. And then potions sell for a lot, so you can turn in a lot of profit.
Hm. I usually produce Geishas with Grateful and fickle traits, put them to escort job and voila, 250+ gold per Geisha each turn. Don't even bother with the farm, not worth the effort lol.
It got a pretty good sized quest/story update during the last big flurry of updates, plus the dev is starting to implement storylines for the recruitable NPCs (though I think only bunny girl has one right now and it's not finished, but it does have multiple paths you can take through it). You can definitely waste a bunch of time in Conquest in its current state, especially if you haven't tried it at all yet.
