They basically had to do everything from scratch again midway through. Yeah, and management was shit. Paid 60€ for an early alpha access basically. Let's hope for the "true" cyberpunk release in a year.

I understand your cautiousness. But unlike CP2077, Subverse has been pretty upfront about what its gonna be and how it's gonna look. And its only launching on PC, so its not like there's some poor previous gen versions to neglect xD
They really need to get a new PR team, their discord was absolute shambles last night, mods telling people they weren’t doing a Kickstarter update, then MR Kristoff saying something every month and it’s never there, the “Pandora” system was supposed to have a video in December and now we’re in Feb and we got 3 pics and 6 sentences. The whole cancelled early access tier and now what we’re getting in March is called early access

1) they didn't say there wouldn't be an update, the mods didn't know. They only help moderate the discord, they are not in the loop regarding the company's plans.
2) Regarding the Pandora video, its just my own theory, but I'm willing to bet it might have had something to do with Pornhub imploding on itself, that may have been where it would've been posted. And depending on the content, other sites might've removed it. A second possible explanation is what they stated in their January update, that COVID affecting people outside the team might've shifted priorities.
3) This method of releasing is not the same as what would've been done initially. Had they stuck to the original plan, you'd have been playing 1 chapter at a time, untested and all, bug reports all over the place, and probably miserable. In this version of the release plan, you are getting full sections of the game, which has been tested, which has had numerous bugs and such reported and likely fixed, and will be playing substantially more content than just a single chapter.
P.S Also...late updates aren't uncommon. Sometimes the diary updates come as early as 10am for me, and then other times will be as late as 6pm. People really need to stop overreacting when it flips to midnight in their timezone and the update isn't there. There is no set time for them. Chill xD
