I hope valen is right and we see more of the old stuff but in a higher quality. I don't really care for subverse that much, but really enjoy their movies so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will continue with movies before too long, whatever that means because it's been too long already haha.

I'd love to see them continue corrupting the DOA/ ninja gaiden girls, starting with Rachel, and a return to the resident evil universe would be great too. More gangbangs and entrapments that show the girls fighting and trying to get away before they are caught. It's boring when they get caught too fast which is why kunoichi 2 was a bit of a disappointment to me, still liked it though.

What type of content would you guys like to see when they return to movies?

Hey y'all, I went and interpolated all of the movies and shorts up to 60 FPS. Due to filesize limits I had to split them up into four different archives. They can be found here:
Studio FOW - 60 FPS Movies Part 1
Studio FOW - 60 FPS Movies Part 2
Studio FOW - 60 FPS Movies Part 3
Studio FOW - 60 FPS Shorts

This brings all of the animations up from 24 or 30 FPS to 60 FPS while also often taking up less space with the use of H.265 encoding. All of the videos originally took up ~15 GB, but after the interpolation they take up a bit less than 10 GB. Studio FOW's use of somewhat-transparent watermarks also screws up the AI model so it's a bit weird when something's "moving" behind it. Other than that, only light visual artifacts of the process are present which I've traced (funnily enough) not to the interpolation but rather to the extraction of frames from the original video. Go figure.

Anyway, enjoy!
What program did you use to interpolate these? I'm asking because some get the job done way better than others, especially with fast motion that studiofow vids has a lot of.

I mean sure. But A) Early access, so its final form could be vastly different from the current product. That is what customer feedback is for after all. B) They've never canceled a project they've announced, even a lawsuit by Blizzard didn't stop the Yrel movie from being released. And C) They know what made them famous, it was literally a part of their initial trailer, so why would they not do more of that once the game is done?
Why would they not do more of that? Because there's no money in it. That's why the content in Subverse is run-of-the-mill vanilla, right? They wanted to sell the game on Steam, and that meant abandoning what initially popularized them. I don't doubt that they will eventually, in several years, make another movie. I'm just expecting to see the same sort of content we saw in Subverse. You say "they know what made them famous" but that doesn't matter. They may very well know but it means little if we never see content like it again. I don't fucking want a game from a studio that makes niche porn. I don't fucking care how much fun the game is, or how nice it looks, or anything else. I wanted more of the same, and I hope you understand how disappointing it was to realize (three years ago) that FOW was selling out to the mainstream. To realize that it may be 5 years before we even KNOW if they ever plan to make content like they did. I'm fucking salty about it and I don't think that's unreasonable

I mean yeah they chose a more vanilla route for Subverse so it could go on steam but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a ton of fetishes in the game’s scenes.

if all you’re missing is the dark rape-y content, they had 4 commissioned doujinshi as part of the campaign. The 1st and 4th being fairly within the tone of their other films.

I very much doubt they’d abandon that level of content just because of the game. Their intentions are to eventually have a movie and game division, so clearly they intend to appeal to all audiences eventually. We can only wait, as game dev isn’t fast.

Can you tell me what program you used to interpolate these? I'm using something called flowframes and the results are similar, but it doesn't allow a specific fps conversion, but only 2x, 3x, etc. The author is not a fan of more than doubling the fps.

Edit: OOPs my bad, The program is called Flowframes, not freeflow.

It will complicate the encoding like HELL. You have to calculate bframes, turn them to iframes and then calculate bframes between the new iframes.
Will take a lot more time too.
And I guesstimate about 15 times to code.

No wonder "The author is not a fan of more than doubling the fps".

Hi, i use Topaz Video Enhance AI. I think the software is better, but very slow. Flowframes are much faster, but yes only allow double the framerates.

Thank you so much for using MEGA.. I have used so many file hosts and they all work great except some are just slow... gofile is just so unreliable and shitty for me. I don't know why but I just can't download from them or upload to them. The connection dies after 2mins... literally the only one I have used that has this problem. Pixeldrain and Mega are the most reliable for me. I use them to host all my stuff and never have issues and they are lightning fast for me on fibre.

I just want Studiofow to get back to the RAPE. The rape is why I became such a big fan and Studiofow movies are the best rape hentai to come out since taimanin asagi. There are other animators who do this content but it doesn't have DarkCrow's editing. Darkcrow is an evil genius and I remember talking to him on Hongfire years ago. He was a big fan of taimanin asagi and took influence from it when editing the FOW movies and you can see this with the shaky cam that makes the scene feel more violent which TA also had a lot of. The shakiness of the camera, sounds, effects and camera cuts that make studiofow movies stand out are because of Darkcrow the director. He makes the rape scenes feel hot and brutal without going over the top into gore and killing my boner.

Bring Back The Rape.

I get that. And its not like they no intention of making films again. Heck if ya looked on their About Us page on their website, you see little model previews for Asagi, Ogla from Kuroinu, and Dark Knight Ingrid. I very much doubt they're leaving that behind.

I don't really know what they are doing anymore. I know they made a ton of money with subverse so it makes sense they'd want to continue down that path though. I know they have hired other animators since releasing subverse but where the heck are the movies? They have probably hired them for subverse stuff sadly enough, which I am not a fan of.

Any money they're making off the game is likely going right back into development of it. Eventually they're gonna have their support site working, which'll be their Patreon equivalent. Half the benefit of making the game is getting their animators used to UE4, which is what they'll use to make their future films as well. So instead of say UE4 Lara in Trouble levels of animations, they'll already be well experienced like they were in their final projects with SFM.

If only there was some kind of frequently asked question about their films…oh yeah ;)

“How will your movie production be impacted by Subverse?

We will continue making movies in the future. Instead of jumping into movies right away in a new engine, we chose to get some practice by using the game as our experimental lab.
We’ve already improved so much from 6 months ago, and we feel that we will improve even more during the development of Subverse. This will make sure we avoid the dreaded “first-year syndrome” that plagues 3DCG artists who are still learning a new engine.

Case in point - compare Lara in Trouble (2014) to Kunoichi 3 (2018), which was done in the same engine. The difference due to experience is vast. The experience we gain on the game, while the programmers are able help us with a lot of the toughest tasks, will translate into much higher quality movies.”

Isn't the difference between Lara and KKunoichi mainlt due to more polygons, prolly because of faster hardware?
