That's...not at all my experience. I wrote in my
initial review of pt 6 that I "really enjoyed the way MC was able to support and get closer with Amrit and McNab". I think this update really did a lot for him, especially in the way he was so chill about MC not being aware of his likely sexual preference for guys. I appreciated that there was no drama or narcissistic proclamation following the awkward moment, and he was just: "Ah, you'll figure it out." Add to that the close bonds of celebrating Amrit's victory and her upcoming shot at the title, the way MC and McNab immediately started working together and discussing how to evolve their tiny and no longer sufficient training room to the next level, and even just seeing him make progress on his parallel path to MC in regaining his former glory/status in the MMA world. There's a lot that part 6 established in his storyline that worked for me. Maybe it didn't work for everyone, but objectively speaking, he definitely got much more attention than some random side character in the story.
Besides being redheads, those two share something else in common. Another...ahem..."natural" asset that makes them quite attractive I think.
