Doing this from my phone so do forgive any brevity.
About 52,000ish words of the script completed, really looking like that first draft will be finished up by this time next week.
152 renders posed and completed at the moment. Glad I made the very smart choice to put the renders with a boatload of people in them right at the beginning.
Not much else today. Reminder I'll be having a Blue Belt Art stream this Sunday at 2pm Pacific time. Spoilers likely so make a note of that.

that's why I said I'm not referring to this dev in particular... Though an Author rework was talked about iirc, but that's a different topic since it's a finished game.

Kind of an ironic statement, since a complete remaster/overhaul of The Author will be released on Steam sometime later this year or early next year. The original download links aren't even available anymore officially.

But yeah, that's a rework of a finished game, so I get what you're saying. And I'm 100% looking forward to it.

yes we are talking about remakes in the middle of game not after it's been finished.

This is one of the best games (writing wise) I have played. You could take (some) of the lewd content out, make a book about it and i'd 100% read it.

Honestly she only looks vaguely similar. Still closer than the normal “cast an actor in the role” we normally see on here.

I feel you. I am in the same boat. I have started this awesome game in the past, found out it is amazing early on (I knew from the Author it would be...) and decided to quit and wait for it to progress much more, because Quality takes time.

A decent novel is 70,000 to 100,000 words. This game is about 3 novels in length already. Probably around 250,000 words.
The game seems to be absolutely massive in scope (number of stills, animations, words), easily x3 bigger than Author was already, perhaps x4.

you are not wrong, and it keeps growing update to update, last one was over 4k renders. Sure, it takes time but it's absolutely worth it.
