I agree. I found routes in BaDIK to be much easier to swallow than here though. I probably just like most of these characters way more than I do ones in other VNs.

Intertwined is heartbreaking. If you chose Elena over Layla... omg... crushing.

I picked the short hair Els option because it was trust points but I swear if she cuts it I'll replay the section and try to get out of it. I personally don't like Els with short hair. Ultimately I can't see it mattering long term since that would mean double renders for all of her scenes.

It is a tracked variable "likelspethwithshorthair". As it's specifically tracked, and not just the +trust, it wouldn't make sense to be ignored in the future otherwise why track it? I don't get why Dev went with Strings to track "True" or "False" when booleans do exactly that already, and are easier to manage in if statements. But if you end up not liking it, change the string from True to False and you *should* be ok.

I'm personally more curious what's in the safe at the foot of her bed. She subtly goes out of her way to close the door covering/hiding it.

Is it not still "TheUnbroken"? I have that in my appdata folder, but there are two options for Part8 preparedness, and maybe they have different names...

No that's not it, I'm not seeing the saves from that folder... plus there's something on the OP about it not being the same anyways... but I couldn't find it (I have hundreds of folders tho, maybe I missed it =/)

This build is on an entirely new executable and therefore won't see old saves from the previous versions. You can technically manually move saves between the versions but I can't guarantee compatibility on that.

Just want to be clear, I played part 7 when it was released last year. Do I have to download the old version in op to prep saves for part 8 or my saves will still transfer with last years part 7?

the old version doesn't have the save transfer feature, you need to download the new one from the OP

Personally I only like Kana and Elspeth the rest are just not LI material for me for one reason or another. tho gonna make saves for all of them when i replay this game

You mean TheUnbroken Pt7 Old Edition right? In the changelog it states that you have to replay the game if you play the Book1 download, but you can just prep your saves if you play the old edition so i'm assuming old players should play the old edition to transfer saves.

yeah, I get you
for me it's almost the same picture but with different LIs)
Kana is my least favorite, Elspeth is also not that high in my rate.

So it's Ines, Serena and Vi for me here, Serena is not a LI, it leaves Ines and Vi.
If there will be a 3some path with them (and so far it looks very achievable) I'll consider myself a happy man)

No love for Amrit?

For me, probably Unbroken is one of the few AVN-s, where I truly happy with every LI, including Amrit. I like all of them, I can bond with all of them, and if I have to choose one of them, then I choose Amrit, Els, Vi, Ines and Kana. On a separated and faithful routes.

Els does it for me too. I find Kana and Amrit easier to reject but I still don't like it. Ines is tricky, I really like her character and wish she got more screen time than she does. Vi though...that girl deserves the world for what she's been through and it's literally painful for me to hand her yet another loss. Plus I love her facial expressions, especially early on when she looks at Valentine.

This is almost like I wrote it myself.

Ines did get a lot more screen time near the end. The walk with her really started to open her up as a character. A lot of bluster with a lot of insecurity/shyness underneath that she overcompensates for. The conversations on the date and the ending shower conversation and scene really started to make her click for me.
