To be clear, relationship commitment and exclusivity are different things, though many people will assume exclusivity when talking about committment since monogamy is the norm. People in polyamorous relationships absolutely can be (and often are) committed romantically to their partners though. But in Kana's case, I agree she seems to expect exclusivity in any relationship where she'd be committed.
