Lost my old pc which had all my AVN saves including this one so I'm essentially starting fresh with my new PC build which im not gonna lie, feels kinda nice because it feels like my first playthrough again. One question, was Serena ever a LI? It felt kinda that way in the beginning but now im seeing the banner & it looks like she was replaced with Ines?

Nope, she was never a LI, people just speculated and wanted her to be.

How must is this game complete? I only play if the story is completed so kinda wondering how long until this game comes to an end? Like how the games updates are what's a rough estimate? I see this does say book 1 so if there's more planned that's also part of it since I don't play one book and wait.

Tho Els is defo LI for me from the start, hope by the end she has a nice ending. Played Author and kim is best but ending wasn't it for me I want a comfirmed relationship with them instead of it just friends who'll eventually get together.

Not sure. There's a lot of other stuff being done, such as getting this on Steam, which is slowing development down. Check Patreon posts if you want to see how often it updates.

Last I heard, the game is about halfway done. Personally, I expect at least 2-3 years before we're anywhere near completion, but Stew could have other plans.

Per patreon, Steam release was April 2025. That matches April 2025 on Steam as well. Chapter 7 was summer of 2024.
The June 1st devlog talked about needing to finish up some animations and then send the release out for proofreading and testing. So we're hopefully weeks away.

Howdy Folks, As Promised here's that Part Eight update I said I would sneak out today. First a small Steam note, thank you all for the support on the launch it's meant a ton. Not going any further because I'll get all maudlin about it, but just acknowledging it.
Anywhooooo.... This animation I'm working at stars our beloved baker Katie Kafton tm. I'm fairly pleased with it, at the moment I'm currently taking some inspiration from Rule34 animators and playing with some things. At the exact moment I'm plugging away at physics on two particular objects. First is her hair, hair physics are much easier on somebody like say Elspeth and her long braid, I can just rig the braid and give it physics and bam it moves with gravity on it's own. But alas I have quite a few ladies with shorter hair in my game and that is much harder to articulate. Fortunately the Rule34 people have provided a tool to help out, when applied properly can give a little extra movement to those shorter styles. Not as effective as just creating custom hair for it, but of course that's not actually a practical option for my purposes, so the tool it is. The other thing I'm tweaking is the skirt she's wearing, that isn't really difficult, mostly just a process of tweaking the physics properly. Too heavy and instead of a nice cloth bounce the thing slides around like pudding, too light and it just explodes everywhere. The other thing to watch out with it is making sure it doesn't clip through Valentine on it's down bounce so it has to collide with him as well, which again isn't a matter of difficulty more just dialing it in. Originally I had her underwear hanging off one foot, but it kept flying off so I gave up on that one. Otherwise we're making good enough progress.
That's really about it at the moment, mostly just boring technical shit so I'll stop here.

Look man, I'm not saying you're wrong.
But hear me out here: LET ME HAVE SOME FUCKING HOPE AND GET OUT WITH YOUR LOGIC!

But seriously though, I'm just hoping she will have ending because, other than Els, she's best pick for MC.
Her content is cute (excluding start, where it was just sex), she cares about MC, and they're a good fit.
I'll keep dreaming until the game ends.

EDIT: And yeah, I'm serious about having hope due to her content. Side girls such as side-fucks (ring girl, cookies woman etc.) are obviously just side fuck.
Serena has quite a lot of content that's much deeper than just "quick fuck".

EDIT 2: Dev might also be pulling good old "No points because person doesn't live to see end of game", but that would be a proper terrible thing to happen to her.
